Inappropriate ads

Just noticed an ad at the top of the forum board for a dating site that contained a graphic of a bull defacating with a line thru it, I suspect it is supposed to mean "No Bull****"

Are these generated at random by a third party or are they sponsors? This particular ad doesn't seem appropriate for a family board in my opinion.

The ads that appear generally are related to other Internet activity from your computer. Not necessarily specific to the DIS. Here's another similar thread about ads: http://www.disboards.com/threads/why-do-we-have-to-read-these-filthy-ads.3384251/ Webmaster Corey posted in that thread that he is trying to block some of the less-appropriate dating sites that get past the filters.

LOL! I thought maybe that could be it but this happened on my iPad which has never seen an Internet dating site in its life. I thought those ad rotators could be set to screen for certain content or ratings. Kinda notso funny when DS points out what the bull at the top of the page is doing
