We also use Touring Plans - even on MNSSHP the Touring Plans wait times seemed to be much more on target.

I'm not 100 percent certain, but I believe they rely on those of us that are members submitting our wait times real-time on the app (it's super easy and fast). Joining is cheap (I renewed for $13 for the year - I believe new membership is $15 for the year).
