Just back from a two days stay at Boadwalk Villas and the 7 day Magic.

Anyone planning for a July 8-13 trip. Need to chat before I go to far into withdrawl.

Write me.

Hi Dawn!

How was the cruise? We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow for ours. I can't wait. I heard the weather down south has been beautiful (although 63 here today's not bad, huh!).

I am going nuts also. We were at VWL 1 night, 3 day cruise, then back to VWL for what WAS to be 5 more nights, then Sept 11th came.         So, I have dealt with all that, and being still a little unsettled, but I miss our "home". Just making ressies and holding out hope that we will go in the spring helps a lot. We booked the inaugural 7-day western cruise last week, but I'm afraid we are going to cancel. There is SO much to planning a trip with resort/cruise ressies, airlines, and car rentals, some of which have costly results if we cancel. I want to travel still, but with the news every day so up and down, I am leaning towards less complications like driving and just using our points that NEED to be used and making other resort ressies that can be cancelled short notice with little to no penalties. We should get our add-on at VWL tomorrow:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D That is keeping my spirit alive. And helping to fuel the economy, and Disney, and the tourism industry, right? Glad to know I could help and perform my civic duty:rolleyes:

We had an awesome time. Our only complaint was that our 13 year old was never available for pictures. He truly enjoyed being with the other teens and never once thought about us.

We saw all of the major shows, played bingo to the tune of too much money and I'll never play again (anywhere). We shopped in St. Maarteen for as long as the kids could stand it, then took them back to the ship and then caught a taxi to the Princess Casino. It was a nice 20 minute ride each way and for only $12 we got a personal tour of the island. We shopped again at St. Thomas, they don't barter very much. We were not prepared at all for the jewlery shopping that was available. Husband decided to get me a new diamond after 17 years. Castaway was our favorite stop. You only have about 6 1/2 to 7 hours there so you must be prepared for what you want to do. We snorkeled for 2 1/2 hours and then spent the rest of the time search for the teen who was MIA. We took the tram over to Serinity bay. I much preferred the family beach, the sand and the swimming area was better. My son came home with sea lice bites all over his legs. FYI they do have a few baracuda's in the water at Castaway. The life guard says the are pretty tame. We got a picture but before husband took it he made me and our daughter get out of the water. He then talked to the lifeguard but the damage had been done we didn't get back in.

I had decided before we even got of the ship that I was ready to go again. I really think I could do a two weeker one western and then easter. But it won't be for a while.

Take care,
