In which room of your house do you display school (or baby) pics?

I have 8x10s of my three sons hanging in my bedroom, 5x7s on the mantle in the living room and a big (I think 11x14) Senior picture of my oldest DS in the dining room.

With 2nd son now getting his senior pics, I'm looking to redo where I put pictures so was just wondering where you put your children's pictures.:D

Some in the living room, some in the family room, some in my bedroom. I always wonder when I walk into a house and see no pictures of the kids that live there. My former neighbor had 3 great kids - zero photos of them.

Everywhere!

I have heard the decorator rule that personal photos only belong in the bedroom--but I've never been much of a rule follower:)

I have framed photos in halls, LR, all bedrooms, and I have a memo board covered in snapshots above my desk. There are small framed photos in all bathrooms and in my kitchen as well.

Oh, are fridge is also covered.

Everywhere but the bathrooms. Seriously, we have family pictures all over the house. The majority are of DD but we also have many of other family members both current and very old ones. I love looking at family pictures.

Everywhere. Bedrooms. Living room. Family room. Dining room. We are proud of our kids and can see no reason to NOT feature them in every room of our home.

We have the kids' school pictures on the wall in the living room, a collage frame of their baby pictures in the computer room, we have some in the bedrooms, one in the bathroom and in the upstairs hallway we have our family pictures from the parks.

We have DS's most recent professional pic (8x10) on the entertainment center in the living room. We have a small wallet picture of him from the hospital in a small frame also on the entertainment center. The 8x10 of hiim from the hospital is hanging on a wall in our bedroom.

I have other various pictures all over the house. The entertainment center has an 8x10 from our wedding, 5x7 infront of the Tree of Life of DH and I, DS's 8x10 and a 4x6 of our family taken for DS's birthday. There are also other snapshots on the shelves, end tables, book cases, etc. I love pictures!

I am an admitted picture freak. I have pix of us all over the house with the exception of the living room. I even wedge 4X6's in the frame of my dresser mirror so I can see DD17 and Disney when I change into PJ's or get dressed in the morn:)
Can't help it!

Our next door neighbors have the most darling children - 2 & 4 year olds and they seem very normal, but do not have ONE single picture of any of them in their house??? Don't get it...
I have wondered if some folks are raised that it is not proper to showcase pix of your kids all over the house? Anyone heard of anything like that?

We have pictures hanging or decorated in all of the rooms in the house, except the bathroom and the dining room.

This is gonna sound awful but none... the reason being we are still pretty new to this house and the only room we've hung pictures of any kind in is dd's room (shes got the only fully unpacked, decorated room in the house... the office and ds's room will be done shortly).

Once we do hang pics we'll have them most everywhere. I try and keep just pics of me and dh hanging in our bedroom although there is usally a couple framed ones of the kids on our shelves. Our master bath vanity area will have my maternity pics from a special photo session I did when we weren't sure how the pg with ds would go (it was very touch and go from 20 weeks on). The kids bath will have a collection of pics of us at the beach (it's beach theme). The hallways are gonna be the "family gallery" with our annual family photos and our favorite candid photos. the office will hold alot of our favorite travel photos (looking at our trips while paying bills is good inspiration to save for that next trip!!). Over the fireplace will be a painting of the kids done by our friend, and in the dining room/ living room will be their "fancy" portraits. And tons of framed pics all over the place.

We have them in the LR (8x10 over the mantle with another 8x10 of DS as a baby and our 11x13 in the middle; 5x7 on the mantle; and various smaller pix scattered around); kitchen (on fridge); bedroom (my dresser, DH's dresser); DS's room; and the office of this house has a "through the years wall". In our other house we had the "through the years wall" going up the staircase, but this house is a ranch so no stairs. Basically my "through the years wall" is a serious of 10 photo's in matching frames that take DS from a baby to current day (he's 8 btw). When we get a new picture of DS for over the mantle, the older picture goes on his "through the years wall."

I do have pictures in the guest bathroom! I have those pictures of all my grandkids in those metal tubs. With a little shower cap for the girls and a sailors hat for the boys. My daughter did the same in her bathroom for her 2 kids. Only hers are big 11X13 I think is the size.

I also have pictures in the main hallway, living room, on my desk in my bedroom and a whole wall in my family room.

The majority of my photos are in the hallway. I like them there because whoever comes to my house has to go down the hallway to go to the bathroom, and therefore they will see the pictures.

Outside of the hallway, I do have some in each room of the house. In the bathroom I have 2 pictures of my DD at 18 months old sitting in a metal tub and in a sea of toilet paper - they are so cute!!!! I did the same thing with DD #2 at the same age, but I haven't hung them up yet because we are moving.

On every wall except the main living areas. In those rooms I have framed photos on shelves, mantels, etc.
I have a couple memory walls with my favorite kids baby and school portraits. Eveyone loves looking at those. I am always looking for more frames. I have so many pictures.

My ex and his wife have dozens of framed photos of THEMSELVES all over their home. One of them is a 24x30 over the couch in the living room. :rolleyes No pictures of the kids up anywhere. I don't quite understand this, but they are weird in a lot of ways like that. :p

We have them almost everywhere, but the main ones (the most recent 8 x 10 school photos) are on the mantel in the family room. I also have the girls' latest dance photos on the bookcase shelves in there, and a photo of Ryan with it. In my bedroom I have lots of old family photos (Christmas mainly) and one wall has an 11 x 14 of each child on the exact day they turned 6 months old! Boy those seem unbelieveable now, as they are 6,9 and 12!
