In what order do you do Fantasyland during MM?

We know now that Peter Pan will be closed on our MM day. We were ready to avoid Peter Pan anyway if the line was long when we got there first thing. I plan to try to be at the gates 30-45 minutes before Magic Morning opening. We want to do all the Fantasyland rides that are open for MM, except for the teacups. What order would you recommend doing them in? Matterhorn first? Dumbo first? We also want to fit in Storybook Land boats once they open at 8:00. Anyone want to share what order they do the Fantasyland rides in?

I would probably do Dumbo first, as that line will fill up quickly, then Toad because that is the next most popular (since PP is out), then Storybook, then whatever order you want. The remaining rides should all be pretty short lines.

Will you be there when Alice is open? If so you may want to head there first.
If PP is closed and Alice is back open it might be the hot ticket.

This is the order Ridemax recommends for MM:

1. Peter Pan's Flight
2. The Matterhorn Bobsleds
3. Dumbo, the Flying Elephant
4. Alice in Wonderland
5. The Mad Tea Party
6. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
7. Pinocchio's Daring Journey
8. Snow White's Scary Adventures
9. King Arthur's Carrousel

I don't know if this is the best order. I would probably for sure move Toad ahead of the teacups.

I'm not sure about the other rides but if you really want to do the Storyland Boats, I would get there right at 8. The line is totally in the sun and it can get really uncomfortable really fast! :)

I am pretty sure the Storybookland does not open until 9AM on a day the park opens at 8AM and MM/EMH is 7AM. Not sure if CJRR opens at 8AM or 9AM.

Other than that, assuming no PP or Tea Cups...

1. Dumbo
2. Matterhorn
3. Alice
4. Mr. Toad
5/6. Pnnocchio/Snow White
7. Carrousel

The above is generally the right order _IF_ you're at the front of rope drop. The problem is that enough people know about this order to make Peter Pan actually AS crowded at the beginning of the day than near the end.

So basically, if you're a few minutes late - drop Peter Pan from the list and you'll feel you've got something out of MM. If you're running a few minutes behind everyone else you'll likely feel you really didn't get much out of it at all because you'll be spending most of your time in the Peter Pan line and behind everyone else as they do the rest in order (before you) as well.

Casey Jr. was running at park opening this past week but I did not see the boats running the mornings we were in FL.

This is true. Only do PP if you are one of the first there.

Peter Pan is supposed to be closed on our MM day, so trying to get to it might not be an option.

Without PP, I would try to do Alice first for the simple reason that for whatever reason, we've had terrible luck trying to ride it on just about every trip. It always seems to be down. Because of that, I tend to jump on it whenever I see it's open!

Maybe just bad luck, but that's what I would do.

I would do Dumbo first, because this ride is the slowest, I might do Alice second, because it is also a slow loader, and it is close to Dumbo. I would then go to the Matterhorn, and maybe do single rider if it is open, if not, get in the regular line. Next ride Toad, then the rest in whatever order you want. Casey Jr. is there too, don't forget about that one! :hourglass

Do NOT plan Dumbo first. For some reason Dumbo isn't quite ready immediately at park opening. Testing reasons maybe? Do at least one dark ride, Toad or Alice probably, and then head to Dumbo. Dumbo's line will generally be short for a while. Although I suppose PP being closed may mess this up.

Not sure what you are saying, maybe based on your most recent trip, but your experience with Dumbo is not typical. It is usually running fine at EMH/MM.

I agree. Dumbo seems to start taking riders 5 min. or so after opening on a regular basis. And until the ride is ready, they don't let guests enter the queue. If we're starting a day in FL, we've learned to do Alice then Dumbo just to be sure it's running (we almost always skip PP.) We were actually at MM yesterday and since Alice is closed, we went to Matterhorn first - but it wasn't running yet. So we went over to Dumbo. Nope, still testing. So we the did the tea cups of all first rides, got off and Dumbo was up and running, we only waited one cycle.
