Saratoga Springs, the newest addition to the Disney Vacation Club Resorts will open across the lake from Downtown Disney in the site that formally housed Disney Institute.*** The original Villas and Treehouses from Lake Buena Vista Townhouses and Villas remain but nothing has been said about how these accomodations will be utilized. The townhouses were demolished to make way for the new construction. The original spa from the Disney Institute still remains and will reopen with the resort in Spring of 2004.

I was unable to find the dates of when the Vero Beach and Hilton Head Disney Vacation Resorts officially opened, so if anyone has that information, I would LOVE to know!

Hope this helps!:)

Vero--October 1, 1995

HH--March 1, 1996

Just wanted to note that while the Celebration Hotel is convenient to WDW, it is not owned by Disney, it is privately owned. But it is a 4 star hotel and a fabulous alternative to staying on property!
