In theory <<BIG eye roll here>>

Really wasn't trying to be mean or deprive anyone, but honest, in January on the 4 night Wonder, DW, DS 8 and myself, it was under a hundred dollars other than tips. DW had no alcohol, one specialty coffee drink, and decided to skip the spa. I had one frozen margarita--which was awful--and drank one beer in diversions. DS was accountable for $25 worth of arcade for quartermasters. I think we got one refrigerator magnet, DS had one smoothie, there were two ginger ales from the bar and dramamine on the first night when we had high seas. Bought a mickey candy thing outside the walt disney theater for DS. No excursions. Didn't get off in Nassau. Already have CC T-shirts. And we just decided not to do anything for shutters because right before we left we found the shutters photos from the prior trip 2 years earlier and we still hadn't put them in frames. A couple of $ for a room service tip and tipping the porter for help with the bags. We had a fine, low key relaxing time, and will likely spend much more with better weather and some excursions on our own to st. john, and we do plan to do some spa and palo's.

But yes, three of us, less than a hundred beside tipping. And most of those were somewhat above recommended.

Well, we have been just over 600 the last 2 7 day cruises with tips, the small photo package of 10 pics, 1 8x10 on the first cruise, palo brunch & dinner on the second cruise and a few souveniers & pins.

We also spend under $600 on a 7 night cruise for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) and never felt deprived! We explained to the kids that the cruise was expensive enough so we couldn't be spending on other things and they understood that. We went to beaches on our own in ports, which was all the kids wanted to do anyway, bought pictures at Shutters, tipped at or above Disney guidelines, went to Palo for dinner and ordered the less expensive wind package, and our bill at the end was between $500 and $600. I don't think anyone felt deprived. Just decide what your ground rules are going to be, particularly for kids, and stick to them and you won't have a problem.

We spent around $700 for a 7 night for 3 people. This included the rainforest, Palo Brunch, an excursion for 3, 2 pictures & a frame, 3 arcade cards and drinks and trinkets.

I'm using my Disney Visa to try and pay for those things in June of 2006.
