Sorry I have been MIA its just been so crazy in my house lately. We are still with out work but my DH has signed a contigent offer of employment just last week.. So hopefully that will follow through.. Its for a job in Northern Virginia.

As you can see I have a ticker back up.. Its for my daughter's graduation trip next year.. But if DH gets this job I plan on going there before the end of the year.

Wow so your gonna run in the ToT.. Good Luck.. My long term goal is to be able to run the Princess Half for my 40th bday in a few years so I need to get into shape for that.

So last night we had a movie night. I was bad and didnt take pictures but I thought I would still share in case anyone is looking for muppet movie food.

Honestly, I think pigs in a blanket or swedish meatballs would have went over. AND since today is a no meat day... we should have had the movie tonight or done the other two dishes I mentioned, but... here is what we had

Kermit's Green Apples

These were cute and turned out pretty well. I didn't have a black edible marker so I used a tooth pick to draw a straight line with some food coloring paste and then dot the center of the eye. It looked pretty close. The apples I got were kinda yucky though so I think that if they had tasted better it would have been a bit more fun. The dip... well, it was more paste like than dip like. flavor was good though.

Animal Punk Pink Pasta

When the apple and the pasta were on the plate it was pretty fun. The pasta was BRILLIANTLY colored. The beets took forever to cook. I think I might make the pasta again. (we like beets) but use canned instead to make the puree. It does require more salt and garlic salt would be best. It does not stay warm long though.. which I thought was odd... so by the time everything was plated, the pasta was not warm.

We also had garlic bread sticks... just because.

The movie was super cute and I found I smiled during most of it. It really does tug at your heartstrings if you are of the age where you watched this show. I was reminded of how, as a child, I was always excited to find out who the celebrity host would be. The skits were always entertaining. I am glad this movie was made. It really brought back the memories.

I really should start a PTR... but since I have yet to do so I had to share... I had my first official trip nightmare last night. I dreamed that Kira and I were trilled to get to MCO and I wanted to get a picture and realized I forgot my camera. I was panicked, but thought...well, I guess she will have to get pictures and then there will be the photo pass. Well, she also realized she forgot her camera!!! I woke up in a panic. I am gonna make double sure bout the camera now!!!

Oh goodness. Nightmares already?!?! Not a good thing!

I am so mad! I typed up a report for an entire day... and was adding pictures and accidentally clicked a link within my message Lost the entire thing. Now to start all over again. When I started this TR, I typed everything up as a document first... then to save time recently I started just doing it as a post. I guess I learned my lesson

Nah...not a trip hijacker! Just in my dreaming of being back and not here! I am not doing summer school this year because of having to go to Nashville for some training for part of the session...so I was feeling really down about not making my normal July double check (summer pay is incredible)...but when one door closes so does another one. I got an offer to teach 3 professional math development sessions for our district teachers and I will make more in those 12 days than 30 days of summer school! Wahoo...so with a little extra money I got to dreaming!

But if you girls get to thinking princess....

At least someone got use out of your passes if you couldn't. Poor Zoe! The only night I wished someone on a bus would move was a night that we left late, the bus was slammed, and Alexa was sleep in my arms. Two guys about my brothers age were sitting right by where we were standing up on the bus. Neither offered to let me or mom sit with Alexa sleeping, so my brother spent the ride helping keep me and her upright. On one bad turn all three of us almost ended up in their laps!

Your Friday makes me sad since we had talked about driving all Thursday night and spending that Friday in the parks too! Oh goodness about the phone. But some of us at least knew how that eventually turned out! That smores cupcake looks yummy. And you have my craving a cinnamon roll!

OMG about the bathroom scene Ann! Poor you! All you wanted to do was go to the potty!

Those Fantasmic Seats are awesome!!!! Ive only seen Fantasmic once. ...Yes I know in 27 times.. But I think we were as far back as you could possibly get!

I love all the one on one girl time y'all got! I would love to do a trip with just me and Alexa on day!

I wish now we had kis swapped and done Snow Whites Scary Adventure one last time on this visit!

That's so awesome that she actually wore her glow sticks! Alexa thought she didn't like them! And that is a fine picture! I need to save that one! She did not like those fireworks one bit. Next trip I'll take a page out of awdwfan about the earphones. And I will post our meet picture for you!

Is it possibly a stress fracture? An incomplete break? Sometimes a break isn't always visible until all the swelling goes down if it's small.

But then again, you're a talented lady and can pull off something like that...

Any news yet? When do you get so see the physician?

As for the run... yep... officially signed up just days before it was full. I have been "training" a bit. if you call a couple miles twice a week training.

thanks. I wish we had more of them. Zoe found a great cookbook that is disney themed recipes and I bought it. (she checked it out from school and then I found it online to buy) I intend to try to incorporate some of those but life has been busy.

LC is normally good. Actually...Kira told me the last time she and I ate there it wasn't as great for her as it was for me...so she isn't anxious to go back.

And yes, the phone booths will be a hoot after we have had a couple drinks. Course... one has to be careful not to be too "creepy" when using those booths. A simple statement of "I can see you" could really freak people out.

I was so happy. We had so much of the trip left that I really would have needed to get a phone. Now I am thinking of getting a new phone and if I had got one then... I wouldn't be eligible for a new one.

girls only trips are the best. I love my guys...but they have different ideas of fun than my girls and I. I am super excited to take my third girls only trip this fall. I can't wait to start a PTR for it... but I HAVE to finish this TR first.

Had the repeat xray yesterday and today saw the doc. Gonna be sore for a while, and she wants me to "ice massage it" but no more splint and NO cast.

A Very EARLY Last Day at Epcot

As the title reads, it was a very early day. I got up at 5:45, but I was not sure the guys would get up. After all, they had not done so all trip why would they start on literally our 10th day in a park and our 13th day of the trip. I went ahead and gently tried to wake them at 6:45am. To my surprise (and I am sure yours as well) they got up. With the bus gods smiling on us soon were on our way.

Again as the title reads - we were headed to Epcot. We had a pre rd ADR at Akershus. When we arrived at Epcot the park was of course nearly empty. I love the park like that. As we were walking, Alex was in shock of how empty it was and assumed it was to be like that all day. He attempted to make fun of me for making the reservation ahead of time. He said "I bet you could just walk up and get right in since there is no one here" I think I about choked laughing. Oh little boy...have you learned nothing??? We are ONLY in the park because we HAVE an ADR.

We were a tad early for our ADR though so we took a few pictures of the kids.

Once it was time for breakfast, we were first allowed to meet Zoe's favorite princess (although I suspect it may change to Merida before our next trip)

Dont you all love how when a pp photographer is there no one knows quite what camera to look at?

The breakfast was lovely. The food itself was not half bad. I really liked the potatoes. The buffet was a nice option as well. Alex and Steve had a memorable moment that lives on in our family conversation still. Alex decided he was going to try the pickled herring. Steve apparently warned him that it was strong (Steve btw, grew up in MN with a lot of Norwegian food so he had all those things often....a famous brand of lefse was actually orientally made in the house he grew up) Anyway, Alex managed to drizzle the juice over his entire plate...yogurt to pastry. So his entire first plate of food was strongly fish flavored.

The princess interaction was probably the best of all our character meals. Zoe loved parading around with the princesses. So much fun.

Cinderella really upset Zoe because Zoe had just 2 pages left in one of her autograph books. She was saving them for 2 of the princesses she has not yet received an autograph for.(that we thought would be there but turned out were not) Well, Cindy picked up one and then the other book and signed BOTH. Poor Zoe looked so mad.

My hand it doing better. It still hurts and it is hard to use it for anything or I get some major pain.

Thank you, I think Zoe is cute in the dress. If you remember in my PTR, I altered that dress a bit since she didn't like the long tight sheer sleeves. Those sleeves are actually a skirt I cut a part and attached. She only wore it that one time though. She fit into it when I first got it for her...but by the trip it was a bit too small. (the waistline just is a bit too high) Oh well, that means that I can get her a different dress. And... do you recognize the crown she is wearing? Thank you again!!! What magic you added to our trip.

Alex made me laugh. I shouldn't have probably laughed AT him, but it was just hard not to since he was so smug about how silly I was trying to get there so early when no one was there and we could have just walked up and go a reservation...maybe karma bit him a second time on that when he spilled the herring juice.

Zoe was pretty cute that day. Some of my favorite pictures of her on this trip are from this day. I will post more soon and you will see.
