People have been incredibly RUDE today!! I don't get it.

So far today I've seen:

a COMMUNITY LEADER going to yavn's room and waiting to try to "trade or get inferno and teleportation". (Not a big deal in and of itself but I've seen this person talking with VMK staff before "hinting" about needing and/or wanting these pins constantly. Not CL behavior in my opinion.

a person making multiple crude comments (That I won't state-young eyes) to people in many rooms

a person booting people from their because "they wanted to" (I could understand if you were doing something but if just sitting there??)

many people hitting trade request without even talking to anyone when they enter the room

many people standing in your face and "begging" (plz plz) to get your __________ pin after you say no.


What gives? Do we need to have a lesson on VMK manners? Or do we just need to slap some people's parents for not teaching their children how to be polite?

Wow, I am glad to know that I was not the only one running into rude ppl. Yesterday I had someone beg, beg, beg for a Fireworks magic pin. They even went as far as to tell me that it was silly for me to have two of them. I tried ever so politely to let them know I was not trading that pin with them but they kept on going. To make matters worse, I was actually trading with somebody else and they kept on bugging me about the pin. I finally left the area (Pirates Lobby) and went to a friend's room. WHOA, they found me and I was not on their buddy list.


I had at least 10 ppl hit the trade request even tho my signature states to "Please ask before trading".

I also saw many, many rude comments about ppls appearance and such. It was not a good ay.

My sister and I came in there for a few minutes before resuming room hopping. She is Lucybell and I'm Tiggerbelle.
We didn't stay too long, though, but it did seem quite quiet at the time....
Of course we were very busy checking out the new stuff, too.

My first experience entering a staff room was VMK_Babs's room a couple of
weeks before the flying saucer pin was released. I wanted to say hi
and couldn't believe how many people were literally surrounding her avatar
begging for stuff. That a CL would do that amazes me.

I didn't ask for anything, made some lighthearted chat and started an
impromptu dance party, distracting the vultures who wanted her on
the friends list or to trade. Unbeknownst to me, she surprised me with
the flying saucer pin, as I found it in my inventory later that night.

But the trade requests that pop up without chatting happen to me all the
time. I have to keep hitting ignore trade. And I've had the beggars pester
me until I put them on ignore. I figure that these are just kids who should
know better but don't.
