I am watching this shaking my head. All these "fairytale weddings" and we are supposed ooooh and ahh, and gush over the romance? If ONE of these couples last 10 years, I'll be shocked.

I will never understand the attraction of celebrity relationships. Name ONE couple who got married AFTER fame and it lasted a lifetime.

I agree........"look at me....look at this expensive and every so romantic wedding"...........I agree, if they last 5 years.........or even more? I too will be surprised. It is only 7pm here in west coast............I may now purposely skim past this show...............(or take a peek)...........

DOes Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward count? THey are old hollywood so maybe not. It seems that new hollywood does not stay married long though.

Why wouldn't they count? And besides, the question was who got married after fame and lasted a lifetime. Well, they're not dead yet, but they've been married almost fifty years. Plenty of people in old Hollywood got married and divorced many times (Elizabeth Taylor, Mickey Rooney, Judy Garland, Cary Grant, etc).

Old Hollywood counts. Old Hollywood has had their share of break-ups.

I was not aware Paul Newman married another celebrity. 48 years...WOW. But, he was married and divorced within 2 years prior to Joanne.

I only watched the first half of it but there was one couple that has been married for 6 years...I bet they will make it to 10 ( cant think of who it was...he was a singer though.... I think it was Rob Thomas ??

Rob Thomas is getting/already got a divorce from his wife, I think.

My big thing is that these folks have such a huge wedding and all that, it seems like the marriage itself isn't really what they're after.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedwick = 17 years

Mark Harmon and Pam Dawber = 19 years

Michael J. Fox and Tracey Pollan = 18 years

In the "unarguable" category:

Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee = 55 years

In the "not married but definitely long term" category:

Tim Robbins and Susan Saradon = 19 years (I believe)

Rob Thomas and his wife are still together, I just read somewhere that they are trying for a baby soon. I remember seeing Tori Spelling on last year's show and she cheated on her husband with someone who was cheating on his wife and they are engaged. She isn't even divorced yet!! Skanky.......

Maybe they should wait until the celebrities are married at least 3 years before doing a show.

Tim Robbins and Susan Saradon = 19 years (I believe)

Also Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn, its over 20 years now.

Tiffany Amber Theisen didn't marry another celebrity. I don't know what he does, but he is not in the business.

I did notice that although the weddings were more expensive than I could dream of having, they are becoming more private and intimate affairs. None were over the top.

This is just who I was thinking about. Didn't her father spend over a million dollars for a wedding, when the marriage didn't even last as long as the wedding planning did?!

I wonder how much of Hollywoood contribute to the "national Average" when it comes to divorce rates.

"4 out of 10 couples will get divorced within the 1st 5 years of marriage"

BUT..the small print says....
