Off to Sioux Falls - it is more humid than a sweaty mans back hair! (How's that for a description!)

Tenting should be fun - and while I sweat off those extra 100 pounds I want to lose - Treyner will be sleeping in a comfy bed with AC! Actually I do love to cam - just wish it wasn't AK jungle weather.

Will check in before we leave for Florida. Might be Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday - just depends on win or loose!

Talked with the Irish invasion this morning and it sounds like they might o with us to Vero on July 1st - they have never seen the ocean in Florida! Been there 4 times - but Kenny is afraid of sharks and although they live on the ocean in Ireland - totally different water!

Anyway - last minute packing to do - hope you all have a great weekend!

62. I don't think we have seen 62 in at least a few weeks, not even as a low!! It is supposed to be 96 today and 98 tomorrow.

I am jealous of all of the vacationing and tripping and traveling! Life 'round these parts is a pretty equal split between working, sleeping, and housework. Okay, maybe it only seems like there is that much housework due to the pile of laundry that has amassed this week...

I stayed the same at WW last night - I was a little gutted, but then realised I'd only been drinking one litre of water a day instead of the two litres I was drinking before, so I've only got myself to blame - plus, staying the same is better than gaining so its all good!

Kelly - a maintain is fabulous. Totally underrated. Totally. I have not been drinking my water in months. Oh boy.

Hi all. Sorry I have been away so long. I am actually home today and having a break from following people around and looking over their shoulder. We have actually worked out a schedule so that I have two 4 hour days both from home during the week which will randomly float depending on my kids schedules.

I have been walking, running and biking but not to any great degree. I found out that there is a half marathon in Augusta next weekend. Wish I had known earlier because I would have signed up. Mike is trying to convince me that I could still do it. And he is right, I could, just not well and I dislike not doing things well. Childhood holdover. Then he asked if I could train for VAB while working full-time and I gave him my angry eyes and said of course I can, it's just a half marathon. Funny how far we have come....

Anyway, I hope everyone is well. I have completed my thread bankruptcy forms and submitted them for review. Hopefully I can keep semi-caught up from now on...

Good morning!

So it's Fathers Day here. Does anyone else feel like we could get rid of Fathers Day and Mothers Day? Seriously, who needs a tie? Can't we just be mindful and celebrate the people in our life daily, or when the mood strikes us, instead of this mass produced holiday?

I'm not anti holiday. I'd like to hang onto the ones from my faith and Thanksgiving. But really, lose Mother Day and Fathers Day. All we do is ***** about the anyway. There's got to be a better way to celebrate parenting. Have one day, Parenting Day. Give us all off, encourage community service, feature stories of parents who raise kids in difficult circumstances, etc etc
