Headed to Disney for my DISNEYMOON! I'm really hoping for my fair share of LOBSTER, although my future wife isn't really into it. I was wondering if I would be able to add a lobster tail (or two) to my DDP at any of the following places, and how much I can expect to pay to add a tail.

Le Cellier?
Marrakesh?
Coral Reef?
Boma?
O'Hana?

Thanks in advance!

I Know you can add a Lobster Tail at Teppanyaki in Japan, I remember seeing it on their menu as an add on.

Not sure about the others let me see...

Just wanted to add that I do remember a previous poster talking about getting lobster on the DDP at Cap'n Jacks in Downtown Disney though, if you want to check there! :goodvibes

I had wonderful lobster at Portabella yacht club. SIt wasn't cheap but aI don't remeber how much. Nancy

In August the only place still allowing a lobster-tail add on with the dining plan was Capn' Jacks in Downtown Disney. When we got there we were told that we could add it on to the steak only, not other entrees.

Well..

I looked at all the likely suspects and best I can do is Shula's Steak House at the Dolphin. Of course you can't use the DP there, but you can order Lobster, lobster tail etc if you are dying to have it :)

As for Cap'n Jack's, you can add a Lobster Tail for $12.99 or order the Twin Lobster Tail Dinner for $31.99.

HOPE THAT HELPS!

Mike

I was just reading last night in the Unofficial Guide to Disney that you could add a lobster tail or crab legs to the buffet at Cape May at the Beach club....

Todd English's bluezoo at the Dolphin has lobster. This is a top notch restaurant.

Shulas at the Dolphin is also a great restaurant.Critic’s choice for Orlando’s Best High-End Steak House and seven-time recipient of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence.

we had whole maine lobster at narcoosee's last month

boy, was that good!!!!

We had dinner at Capt Jacks and I did post else were about our lobster tail dinners there. If it’s lobster tail dinner you want or to just add it to your Top Sirloin Steak dinner then Capt Jacks is your answer when in the Downtown Disney area. We were on the DDP and yes you can get a 2 tail lobster dinner as your meal on the DDP plan or they will add a side lobster tail to your Top Sirloin Steak for no extra charge. If they offer this same deal next year my wife says we need to go to Downtown Disney at least twice next year.

And just for you; here are the two Lobster combinations that you can get at Capt Jacks.

Twin Lobster Tail Dinner

Top Sirloin with Onion Ragout and Horseradish Cream with add on Lobster Tail

And to make it even more special, you can start you dinner with a great appetizer of Crab Cakes and finish with a authentic Key Lime Pie.

Because the DDP has ruined everything; you’ll haft to pay for your own Top Shelf Gin Martini.

Narcoosee's surf & turf was great with a delicious lobster tail. 2TS though and don't know if you can add on to other choices.

Captain Jacks in September - was excellent.

So if I understand this correctly - you can't even get a lobster tail at a SEAFOOD RESTURAUNT (coral reef)?!?!

May have to jump over to Captain Jacks.

Thanks for the input...keep it coming!

I have been doing research for my 1 yr. anniversary with DH coming up for some good restaurants to eat at, and I haven't eatin here before but I found that Fulton's Crab House in Downtown Disney has lots of lobster choices. Go to this link for a menu and prices.

Also I have eatin at Cap'n Jacks and I LOVED it !!! Very delicious food!

We tried Capt. Jacks but, didn't realize that they now accepted ADRs...when did this change???

They were booked the entire week.

Keep in mind that the OP says he would like to keep to a DDP restaurant.
These restaurants are not presently on the DDP.

Todd English's bluezoo
Shulas at the Dolphin
Portabella yacht club
Fulton's Crab House

The next one requires a 2 TS credit

Narcoosee's

Keishashadow; I don’t know for certain but I think they added it to the ADR system sometime last spring 06.

thanks; jjohonson

I know Narcoose's is 2 TS credits, but even at that, whole lobster's REAL expensive. Is it an option on the DDP there, or is it excluded?

If it is on the Menu, and it is. So the Steamed Whole Maine Lobster - drawn butter and roasted asparagus $54.00 is included on the DDP.

On Friday I made an ADR at Coral Reef. I didn't ask about lobster, but the CM asked if we were on the ddp, then commented that it is such a good restaurant and that we could even get lobster there.

Since I wasn't even asking about anything on the menu, that would make me think that you can for sure get it at Coral Reef.
