Our experience with a laptop, IPad 2 and an IPod Touch was this:

VERY SPOTTY coverage Third Floor. All picked up the WIFI signal but then shortly thereafter lost it. It remained intermittent thereafter. A review of local wi-fi signals using inSSIDER 2.0 (http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/) on our laptop revealed at least 18 wifi signals packed into the spectrum which I assume causes your devices to try and figure out which wifi signal to use.

There are at least 9 guest-wireless nodes in range, some far exceeding 95% in RSSI (signal strength) and only one hovers near 10% (a lower number is better). The rest are crowded in the mid 50s to mid 20s.

Our solution was to use the older Kidani Village LAN portal to the internet. Use our laptop to bridge the connection, attaching our old Netgear WPN824 v. 3 to the LAN Port. We are using the security that we use at home (WPA2). The signal strength is 100%.

Hope this helps. Can't speak for other areas of Kidani at this time.
