Does anyone have the phone number of the independent service " Doctor's on Call" ( or something to that effect?)

Thanks

I've used EastCoast Medical Network, Inc. (still have the doctor's card) twice, and they sent two doctors each time to our room at the Dolphin. I was lucky that my insurance reimbursed me for the visits, and the doctors had what my kids needed (my DD had strep throat, my DS had a really bad ear infection and wheezing). Their number is 401-648-5252 (if they're still around, which I hope so!). I got their info from the front desk, back in 2004 or 2005, I forget what year that trip was.

Thank you. I will call the number to check before we go.

I think area code 401 is in Rhode Island- perhaps Happymommy means area code 407 ;)

Yes typo! Oops - 407!

I'd call to make sure they're still around. I was so very grateful to have them come to the room that trip (twice - ugh!). High fevers in both kids, and no rental car (and it was much better to let them lie in bed and wait the short while for the doctor than to go out!).

I found this website for East Coast Medical Network:

www.themedicalconcierge.com

So it looks like they are still in business and received good reviews.

OP: thanks for starting this thread. I am a nurse and I always worry about health issues while traveling.
