I saw that it is possible to order grocery's to be in your room upon arrival. Has anyone done this? We will have a rental car so it's probably a better deal to just go and purchase our own, right? I just don't want to take away any of our fun time shopping:rolleyes:

Looked at the resort's grocery list. 6 pack of Coke for $8?? 1/2 gallon of milk for $6.95??? Delivery charge of $10 on top of this?? :scared1:

If you already have the rental car, go to the Safeway 10-15 minutes away and pick up what you need for a lot less. It's on the way back from practically any destination that you would be driving to on Oahu (or go to lunch/dinner in Kapolei and drop by Safeway on the way home). Here's a map showing some restaurants / stores nearby to Aulani. Click on the thumbnail to expand the map. The entire right side of the map where most of the stores are located is the city of Kapolei.

If you are a Costco member, go there to stock up on soda and water. We didn't buy the refillable mugs because it just didn't seem worth it to us because we were gone from the resort on many of the days hiking and exploring the island. Best breakfast was at Haliewa
Cafe on the North Shore. Wish I had some of those jummy banana pancakes and/or french toast now:yay:

Safeway super market is the way to go , get the shoppers card to get the lowest prices

don't usually buy gallon jugs of milk at Costco so I'll price that the next time we're there. Most grocery stores in Hawaii sell a gallon of milk for around $5 - 8 (depending on sales)
