I was told recently that there is a service or a company that will deliver prepurchased gifts to your room before you arrive. These are for your kids and are sent with a note from a disney character. Does anyone have a phone number or e-mail address for this?

Also, any tips on pin trading and how to get started without spending a fortune?

Disney Florist will send gifts to your room. I have used them several times and have been very happy with the results. There is also a site called www.peggyssweetsandmore.com I think and people thik hers are great. I may try her's this time. You can really customizer with her.

HAVE FUN AND ENJOY YOUR TRIP

Hi, I know there are services that will put something together for you but since I'm sort of cheap this is our plan for my DD6:

I have already purchased things from The Disney Store (on clearance of course) and also for the past couple months I've been looking for nice inexpenive Disney things at different stores and we are going to bring tissue paper and gift bags and each night leave a little something maybe with some confetti around it and say that Tinkerbell brought her something.
And for the first day I was planning on something bigger and just having my DBF sneak up ahead of us (he has to go to the bathroom of course) and put the bag/basket in the room.
I was going to pack one of our carry on's with this bag/basket. You could either put together a gift bag or even a smaller basket that would fit into a carry on.

Just an idea I thought i would pass on. Good luck and have fun!!

I am doing the same thing for my 3 kids as the previous poster. I got the idea from these boards. On the plane on the way down, my kids will decorate a small paper bag with disney stickers, markers, etc. We will leave these bags out every night for Tinkerbell. In the middle of the night she will visit and leave 1 small gift for each child in their bag. I have disney sunglasses, cell phones, mini fans, light-up twirly toys, watches, and a few other things. I'm hoping the anticipation of her visiting every night will make my kids want to go to sleep at night and get up early in the morning to see what she has left. The first day we arrive at our hotel, I will be sneaking up to the room while my husband takes the kids to see the pool and will put out gift bags of PJs, stuffed animals, hats, and a T-shirt for each child with a postcard from a disney character welcoming them to WDW. I looked into having a gift basket sent from a few websites and the cost was pretty high. I figured I could do just as good a job and save the money for other things! Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure your kids will love it!

We are actually doing the tinkerbell routine before we leave. Tink will come to our house a la Santa and leave the presents (and some Pixie Dust of course) the night before we leave. Thought it was a fun way to tell her that "today is the day" since we can't possibly tell her beforehand...she'll drive us nuts!

We're not doing gifts, but when we check in, I will hand the CM the first of many sealed envelopes with Pluto's "paw print" on it, and ask him or her to call up my kids to get it. It will welcome them from Pluto, and let them know to look for more letters. Every morning, they'll have a letter from Pluto with a riddle that lets them know where we're going that day (I wrote them, so no extra cost there). The envelopes are "sealed" with a dog paw print stamp. Pluto is my kids' favorite character.

I was thinking of also having new Disney pjs on the first night. That's our plan! :teeth:

I just ordered a gift box from Peggy. YOU get to pick what you want in it. She has a list of so much stuff to choose from you can't go wrong. I have heard from others that the way she decorates it is to die for. This is my first time. If it looks good, I will order for SIL in October and surprise my DNiece and DNewphew. Seriously, I have only heard good things about Peggy. She is a really nice lady. My DD's are too old for the Tinkerbell. They would not enjoy it as much as little kids. So, I opted for the basket. Have fun whatever you decide. :cloud9: :wave2:

Tribus121's wife: My DH won a Pal Mickey through ebay and we finally got it last night. Our daughter doesn't know that we have gotten her one. We will give her the toy right before we leave for our trip. It will be something new for her and she will have a blast.

What did you get in your basket?z

Anyone know if it is delivered to your room or is it delivered just to the front desk at the resort? :confused3

Like many of the other posts suggest, I'd do a gift bag my self and pack it in the luggage and sneak off to have a CM deliver it. There is so much Disney merchandise everywhere, wal-mart, any toy store, the disney store. You could probably put together a much more personalized package at much less money than having someone do it for you. You could get really creative with the packaging. :wizard:

Also as far as pin trading goes, may people purchase pins from e-bay. They may have lanyards to. I'm not sure what kind.

Looks like a great site, can't wait to look into it more and hopefully try her out for our next trip!!

I did this last year with my 5yr dd and I left the gift by the hotel door every night when she went to bed. Can you believe I didn't leave anything our lastnight. My dd woke up and the 1st thing she would do was look by the door and she said, "I guess Tinkerbell knew we were leaving today"!!! URRGGGHHHHHH!!! I was so upset, I thought I would cry. Needless to say, I have plenty of treasures for our next trip in Jan. already.

If you order through Peggy or giftsofalifetime the gift basket or whatever will be waiting for you at check in. If you ask for delivery during your stay then the gift can be in your room waiting for you on your return.
