In room gift for birthday

The in room floral and gift packages that Disney offers are very limited (the vendor they used had a lot more options in the past). Is there any other company or service that can deliver a birthday surprise / package / decorations to your Disney hotel room? My son is turning 10 during our trip to the Poly and I would love to do something special in the room but the things offered on Disney’s website are just like, floral bouquets or one birthday snack package.

If you use Facebook check out the group "Ear for Each Other" it is chock full of businesses that were created by Cast Members who were furloughed during COVID-19 shutdowns. There are several who do door and room decorations and gift baskets.

Do you want them to knock on your door with the items, or set things up while you are out of the room?

Ideally bring to the room while we are out, but I’m not sure that is possible if I don’t use Disney’s vendor. I’ve tried to join the EFEO group but still waiting to be approved…

If any service is promising delivery to an unoccupied room, that is going to involve you coordinating access with them somehow directly.

That stinks. That explains why they offer so few packages. If someone can’t decorate or deliver to the room there really isn’t a point - I can buy stuff to decorate myself and just try to do it when he is asleep or something. In the past you could order really fun room decorations and unique gift packages to be sent directly to the room

A few of the companies in the Facebook group are able to set stuff up in your room. You will need to go to the front desk and set them up as a day guest and they will be given a key to your room. I haven't used any of them but I have seen some AMAZING pictures of rooms decorated inside as well as some great door/window & balloon bouquets. I have no idea how much they charge but based on some of the comments it's considerably cheaper than anything that was ever offered directly from Disney.
