In-room Fridge at ASMo?

Do all the rooms at ASMo have a fridge?

I know from past experience that they did not and the cost for a small refridgerator would be $10/night, but I recently heard that they changed that and now all of the value resort's rooms have a fridge?

Is it a fridge? I've read on other posts that it's a "chiller". Once it keeps drinks cold I'm good, but I would assume that a chiller is a lot smaller than a bar fridge.

It is called a beverage cooler; that is the official terminology. It keeps things cool, as long as they are cool somewhat when you place them in the unit somewhat cool already.

Not sure where you got that terminology from, but Wal-Mart and like stores sell a bunch of them and they are all called refrigerators.

Never heard that before. All the way through college they were called mini-fridges...which is what they are, small cubical miniature refrigerators.

The ones without the small freezer at the top, and a set of temperature controls on the inside wall are mini-fridges. The ones without those parts are beverage coolers. They might call them all refrigerators, but there are differences in them. You can't adjust the temperature settings on the coolers, so if you put a lot of warm items in them, it could take a really long time for them to get cold. They aren't really meant to store food at the proper temperatures, either.

Nothing wrong with the units, and they are a great addition to the rooms. I think people get disappointed if they think the units will do something they can't -- like freezing an icepack, etc.

Much better than filling up a sink with ice to keep water bottles cold!
