In Room Dining (Room Service)

How is the quality, did the meal arrive hot & fresh? Tasty? We’re at the Yacht Club, and considering it after 1 particularly busy day.

We've ordered room service at the Yacht Club- it was hot & fresh and delivered promptly! The waiter was so nice and engaging! He was telling us all kinds of stories as he set our table!

The room service we at POLY was very good. It arrived hot, fresh and on time. Also, like @pattyw, the CM was very pleasant and engaging.

Wow, after reading about others' in-room dining experiences I wonder if they put the best CMs on room service duty! Last July at the Beach Club, we had the absolute BEST room service experience! Had planned on a pool afternoon, but the rains came in, so we went up to the room and ordered chicken Caesar salads (chicken was warm and plated separately from the salad), au gratin potatoes and a bottle of champagne. The food and bubbly were outstanding and our server was SO delightful! Super cheery and really made the whole experience feel like an event! It honestly added such a fun touch to the trip and we're planning on another room service lunch this trip--this year we're at the Boardwalk, where I read here on the Dis you can order from any of the restaurants on the Boardwalk!
