"i don't know if this will help but i'm going to a in room celbration for my birthday and it's my understanding that the charge is authorized but it's not charged until a few days before your arrival. Also the in room celbration this isn't done until your first full day during your stay and then you pick a time to have them decorate at least this is what's done at WDW don't know about Disneyland

I did the princess in room celebration for DD and it has to be paid in full at the time u order. You are correct about it being delivered on your first full day.

I just retuned home fro a wdw and fantasy cruise. I want to say that the royal princess celbration package was sooo wonderfull. The only thing was i didn't have room in my suite case to take the large boxes that gifts came in home. The tiara was beautiful and i wore it on the fantasy for formal and semi-formal nights. The frangrance bottle will be used as well as the mirroed compact. I also took the flowers with me for the cruise. This package is spendy. I have the promation on my desk at home and when i look at it it reminds me that i 'm a princess.
