Hello all! We are planning our trip for Dec. 14th-20th and will be staying at RPR. We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and would like to go somewhere nice without the kiddos (2 and 6 yrs.) to have dinner, probably Tchoup Chop. Has anyone used a good babysitting type service. Could you make any recommendations and give me an idea of what they do with the kids etc. My 2 y/o is rather attached to his mommy so I am a little worried he may cry when left with a strange person. Do they arrive early enough for the kids to warm up to them? Thanks so much for any info. you can give me.

At Disney we used kids night out, I am sure they would come to universal if you called them. They are disney recommended, but not a disney only service.

They were fantastic. They woman brought everything, stroller, toys, etc. We had to supply one meal. We just gave her cash and she took our grandaughter to one of the restaurants in the resort. The only thing they don't do is bath the kids or take them swimming (no water activities).

Thank you so much for your information. I really appreciate it. We may give them a try.

tammyd, we used "kids nite out". Cannot praise them enough. It was the first time we had left our 2 year old daughter (hannah) with anyone other than immediate family, but the caregiver we had (Ellen) was great with her and she didn't even notice us leaving the room. She arrived about 15 minutes early and on our return she even gave us a written report on what activities Hannah had been upto.

We were staying at the Hard Rock at the time and kids nite out were recommended by concierge as they are the same people they use for the "mariners club".
