In reference to Kteacher's "cough thing" thread.... My DS's diagnosis today...

I couldn't believe it when I heard on the radio this morning that children around our area are being diagnosed with pertussis. I immediately thought of this thread and realized that sometimes the DIS is quicker on the draw than our local media. Now I'm really watching out for it.

I have often seen and heard about "news" on the DIS first! We are a very informed group, that's a for sure.
