In pre-term labor? Please help...

I know you said you do feel some better right now. I just felt like I had to tell you that pre-term labor doesn't always feel like labor.

When I was 7 months pregnant with DD, I felt felt fine. No problems except the backache I had from day 1. I felt a little "funny" and a little like you, afraid to call anyone and seem like an alarmist.

I did call my best friend (hubby and I were separated) and she took me to the ER. Good thing. I was in pre-term labor and put on meds, a home monitor and bedrest for the duration of my pregnancy.

Thank God that little voice told me to CALL SOMEBODY TO TAKE ME TO THE ER, because the darling angel you see below did manage to stay put until 37 weeks with an emergency c-section.

Good luck to you, and God bless....please keep us posted!

I am glad you called your doctor. How are you feeling this morning?

I second the recommendation to drink a glass of water and lie down. Dehydration can cause pre term labor

Good luck to you.

Yeah, how are you this morning?

This is your Mother speaking " Call the Doctor" and keep us posted.

Get to Labor & Delivery right away. Don't go to the emergency room. In L & D they will put on the monitor and have OBs there to assess your situation. My PreTerm labor felt like terrible indigestion.

Thanks to everyone for thinking of me. It wasn't pre-term labor. Not sure what it was, but I feel much better today and my doctor said everything looked fine. I was a bit dehydrated and most likely, I really overdid it, so he wants me to only pack if I can do it from a sitting position. I spent most of the day laying down and drinking water. Now that I'm up again, I do feel the pain once again. So, I guess it's back to a prone position. I hope this passes soon...

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I had labor pains two weeks straight before my daughter came....with a C-Section!

I am a small person, 4'8", and I had a lot of your same symtoms. However, mine also made me pass out. Always unexpected. It started as I got bigger, and then happened more and more as time went by. But, only when I was up and about and mostly when I over exerted myself. My doctor here could not tell me why it was happening, just told me to not drive very far from home. So, I went to my doctor I had back home and he told me that the baby would get on my (excuse me if I do not spell this correctly) siatic nerve. She would get on it which would make me black out and then pass out, I would hit the florr and I would be fine....reason, it would cause her to move. Funny Huh! But scarey!

just take it easy and do not over exert yourself, you do not have that my more time before your precious gets here. Keep us posted!:wave2:
