While we were planning our WDW trip, we were looking forward to playing some of their in park games like Sorcerers of the magic kingdom. Does DL have anything like these? I've never heard of any, but thought I would ask!
I wish DLR had something like Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom (or Pirates Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas or Agent P), but I haven't seen anything like them in either park.
In DCA, kids can earn a Wilderness Explorers Badge (sticker) at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Last I remember, they have a little Wilderness Explorer book to read and fill out. Its not as in depth as the WDW ones, but still something small they can do. (there are weight and height restrictions on some challenges)
If you are going around Halloween time and sign your kiddos up for Pirates League the CM's lead a treasure hunt. It's really cute and at the end all the kids get to take a piece of the treasure then go for a ride on POTC. They bring you through the exit. My DS was 5 and loved it.
When we went in April, there was no longer a book at the Wilderness Challenge, nor was there a show. The kids were free to explore and do the challenges but thats it. Not sure if its a new change, or was just a Spring Break thing??
