Not really...
I picked out lots of clothes from American Eagle and Delia's so I already know about that stuff. I did ask for season 7 of Gilmore Girls and my plane ticket to Long Island this summer is part of my gift so I'm not really expecting much more.

our patio chairs are now on the deck

the weather forecast is now "snow flurries" for Sunday!
UGH! It is seventy today!

We also started doing a lot of cleaning up last week.

No snow flurries here but temps are about 20 degrees less than yesterday. Forecasters recommending waiting to plant anything yet.

I'm not sure yet, I'm thinking sometime around 3ish...
Dev won't be back till around 7 so it would be boring for
me if I went back now.

I'm trying to spend as much time with Alicia as I can since
I probably won't see her till May!

Looks like a wonderful pre-birthday!


We had ice cream cake and pizza for DD14 today, too!
Grandma and Pappy came down to see the play DD11 was in (last show today)
so we turned it into a birthday party

we are doing the was40 side of the family party next weekend in Erie
with all the cousins from my side

DD11's throat is sore
I thought too much play this weekend
give her tylenol, she perks right up

I am betting tomorrow morn, fever and no perkiness
also she said her ear keeps popping

fluid in it, I am going with a cold
hope it is nothing worse that means a trip to the doctor....

Dh and I are now sitting down
busy busy day with all the outside work, the running to and fro of children
the running to DQ for the birthday cake

we are tuckered out and ready for bed
someone should have told the kids they should be too!

She woke with a fever
so a trip to the doc and strep test

she is now dosed with day one of a z-pack (only five days duration)
so she should be perky again soon


tylenol works on the fever and she gets some energy
then it wears off and bbbbbbllllllllaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh



the doctor says she can go to school tomorrow if no fever, though

Everyone in this house except DH slept lousy last night

DD14 and I tossed and turned and watched the clock all night
and this is highly unusual for me

DD11 didn't feel well, so she did some clock watching too.


DH, who usually sleeps horribly, slept fine last night...

I said to DD11 "I think Daddy stole my good night's sleep last night!"

I felt like DD11 and I were skippin' school today
we went to the doc, then lunched at Bob Evans (her choice)
and then to 5 Below (where she only wanted two little things, two bucks)

It stopped raining and got sunny!


DS had a tennis match today, he plays doubles and they won!
this is his first match, so he was quite happy

DS has me going to volleyball tonight at 8:30
rather late for an old chick like me!

Time to go coddle the sick one a bit
she loves to cuddle, especially when she is under the weather
and I know it doesn't last long, these childhood cuddle times!
