In Our Prime

I couldn't get your video to load at first
so I just made myself one

I was the same role as Uncle George! Tee hee hee!

Then yours worked for me.....
A made a cute baby! I only really saw your roomie at the end....she must not love Disney as much as the rest of us!:rotfl2:

(they probably have different size ear hats for little heads like yours!):rotfl:

My roomie actually loves Disney!
She has been over 20 times :worship:
I'm not sure why it didn't include her much :confused3

So are you planning a summertime wisdom tooth extraction?

I had mine all out at once, but they were impacted and I had to go to the hospital for it and be put to sleep. I didn't have any problems though, and barely even swelled up. Must have been a good oral surgeon I just picked out of the phone book.....

Probably...
but I will more then likely have a summer job
and I already have 2 weeks of vacation planned
to visit friends from school so I don't really think
I would be able to take more time off for that

switching to laptop

What kind of job are you planning this year?

DS says he needs to make MORE money (lifeguarding is so easy and seven dollars an hour, I think that is plenty for a soon to be HS senior)

Hi! You are up late with me
well, it is not late yet
but I don't even pick up DD11 until ten.....

I'll be here for a little bit
I finished House Rules and I didn't
bring any other books home with me to
read so I can DIS for a little bit tonight.

I do have to read 5 Newberry chapter books
for my child lit class so I started
Bridge to Terabithia (I read it a long time ago)

I'm trying for something at a daycare
If all else fails I can do the parks again
but I REALLY hated that so I'm hoping
I don't end up there again

You know, I am not a big fan of the Newberries......
some are good, but I personally can think of a lot of books that are more interesting, exciting, readable....

I had to read them for kiddie lit in college, too...

Shiloh is AWESOME, I read it aloud to my students every year, first book of the year. I do voices and dialect and they are rapt....

I don't know what daycare pays as summer help

but child care rates for working parents are outrageous!
I don't know how parents afford to work with what they have to pay!

It is terrible, because it is so hard to leave your kids
and they are your most precious possession
and you want the best care for them in your absence
and then the cost......:scared1:

Dear Mr. Henshaw
Number the Stars
Sarah Plain and Tall
Bridge to Terabithia
The Giver (one of my all time FAVORITE books)

I'm going to try to get a job at the daycare that I went to from the time I was 6 weeks old till around 11 or 12

OOHHH, those are good ones!
I :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc the Giver
and we read Sarah Plain and Tall every year in fourth grade, too. It is short and easy to read.

I usually read Number the Stars aloud, the first chapter is really hard, but once you get into it, they kids really like it

Dear Mr. Henshaw in not on my fave list, though

That would be neat!
A lot of daycare around here seem to stop at age 10
which really isn't old enough to be alone
though they tend to detest day care by that age, too....
especially all summer

Dear Mr. Henshaw is pretty rough!
I'm enjoying the children's books much more!
I have to read 30 and think up lesson plans
for them by April 30th

I am having a nice hot cuppa
I bet you know in what mug...:rolleyes1

with some Irish Soda bread
(authentic) a gift from a student yesterday

It is not the tastiest treat
it has raisins and caraway seeds
intersting taste
does go well with a spot of tea

my kids turned up their noses after one taste!

 Sorry to leave you was40
but I'm meeting my friend tomorrow
and I want to take my shower tonight to
give me extra time in the morning.

Have a good night

Is Little Blue and Little Yellow one of them?
I can't remember what is on the "list" anymore, I just go with my favorites.

I love the story of Little Blue and Little Yellow
I made a Big Book out of it in college
using posterboard
I still use it (even though fourth grade is "old" they still appreciate it!)
