I made great headway in putting stuff away today

The power cord on the (school's) laptop died just a few minutes ago.
Good thing I thought ahead to bring home a spare 'puter for the Christmas break. Of course, the one I picked, has a battery that will only work IF it is plugged in.....ah, the techno issues.
I swapped out the good battery with the good power cord to repower

will work for awhile then need a recharge
God forbid I would have to use the actual desktop model!

Two trees taken down today (DS's and DD13)
DD10 isn't quite ready to take hers down, she likes the lights waking her up (on a timer) in the morning

Main tree staying up til new years....or later....(I love the Mickey Mouse ear hats on it, I may just keep it up a very long time!)

I keep my (artificial) tree up through the 12 days of Christmas!

Hi Redlight!

I keep the garland on my staircase until valentines day.
It is lighted, and on a timer, and I like that it is on in the evening and in the morning since it is so dark when we get up for school and work.
It is pink and purples, so not completely christmas colors...

The favorite new game is Phase 10
a card game, sort of like Uno and another card game I have played before(which I can't think of the name right now)
but you have to get different things each time (for 10 rounds, or more)

We played it on Christmas day after dinner with everyone
and the girls are playing it now with friends

yes friends are still here
but NO sleepover!

she wore it all day yesterday

I don't have any

My camera was acting funny on Christmas Eve
I went to show our Disney pictures to my cousins
when we were at my Aunt's house since I hadn't
deleted them yet and they were gone! I just figured
that I had deleted them and forgot about it so I started taking
new pictures. I got some great ones on Christmas Eve/Day.
Then when we were at Grandma's I went to take a picture
and it said my memory was full. But I only had about 20 pictures
on there and I have a 2 GB memory chip so I knew that wasn't right.
I took the memory chip out and put it back in and when I went to
look at my pictures the Christmas ones were gone and the Disney ones
were back

I had planned to buy a new waterproof camera for the cruise anyway
so I retired my old camera and got the new one yesterday! It's purple

I'm so sorry to hear that you're still not feeling well! I'm glad that you have the cruise to look forward to.....

Stick with tea, toast with jelly, plain baked potato, plain white rice, saltines-unsalted ones, jello, applesauce. You must stick with it for a few days in a row and then slowly start adding in foods when you really feel better.

Yes, he is. With Gram as his copilot, and she NEVER had a license in her life. She is a good backseat driver always has lots of advice for whoever is driving. They live very near to a small plaza that has Eat N Park and Walmart, that is about all they drive to (still not safe) and the doctors.
