I have an eye doctor appt next week and it's a GOOD thing... I can barely see today, time for a new prescription!

Glad you're going to the eye dr. before your trip. You need to see everything clearly at Disney!

DD13 is needy tonight. I have been gone all evening, with staff meeting then right to tutoring. She wants help studying, which means you ask her all the stuff she already knows so she can say it out loud.

Peanut means she is small. DD10 is the same size as her. DS would never fit in her jeans. He is bigger than I am. For Rock Star day, in case you were wondering why he is wanting girl jeans.

DS pinched his belly tonight, lifting weights. He has a nice swollen pinched stripe. DH must not have been supervising well!

New principal is grating on my nerves.
Wants everyone to revise their teaching schedules.
NO silent reading time allowed, but teach handwriting.

You gotta be kidding me, in this computer age, she wants us to spend time teaching handwriting but not allow the kids time to read at school. I completely disagree with this asinine directive. My class loves when I read aloud to them, and then they get to read. They ask when it will be time to do it. I changed the schedule on paper, to make her happy. We are still going to read in my classroom, though!

Now it is after eight, and I haven't had dinner yet.
And, I have no inclination to make anything.
Cheez Its are sounding yummy to me right now. I hope DD13 didn't eat them all!

I can't believe that your temp is 20 degrees cooler than it is in NY! It is a very hot and humid day here today. I think it is the last day for a long time that we will have such warm weather.

Yeah now only couple left. I heard that in a few days we will be going back in the 80's again. I like this cool weather.
