It was a bit rainy today in PA, but the kids are now out playing.

I knew it was too much weekend!

DS was late for school
and I had to take DD11 to school so she had time for breakfast


DD14 got up on her own and left
do you think she would wake the momma before she went out the door?

(started in October of this year)

is pregnant

Tonight I made pulled pork sandwiches and pierogies for dinner

an interesting combo
but eaten up by the hungry was40's

It is SO beautiful out today We are at 74 degrees right now and it feels so good to be wearing shorts I went for a walk around campus with my friend and we were so hot by the time we got back! We are supposed to get close to 80 this weekend!

How fun to color eggs with the kids!

We still color eggs at the was40 house, even the almost grown DS....
great times!

Enjoyable to have multicolored hands for a few days, too!

It is so delightfully sunny and warm here!

DS had a tennis match, and both DH and I actually got there in time to see him play! DD11 played at the local park while we watched tennis (she found it too hot and boring)

We got ice cream afterwards at the "opened today" ice cream shop! yummo!

and the weather forecast could hardly be better!

Easter is usually much colder and rainier...

any good april fool's tricks today?


I gave my class a maze (help the doggie get to his bone) which had no correct path. THey didn't get it, they kept trying new paths, and coming up to me to say, "It doesn't work, Mrs. Was40!"
Finally I said, "It is an April fool's joke!"
and they went "oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh!"

funnier that they didn't figure that out!
