In one sentence: What does DVC mean to you?

We are somewhat DVC newbies (little over a year), but, my DD and I watched our DVC video in preparation for our trip! I have found that DVC is much more of then a timeshare to those on this board - it is more like a cult! What does DVC mean to your family? For our family:

A magical place that makes all of us happy to be alive and to be together!

An easy, 'free', luxurious vacation every year.

We broke even nd paid off our loans a very long time ago, all I pay now is dues, an OKW GV for $150 or so per night is 'free; as far as I am concerned.

A chance to be a kid again! Only I never got to go to WDW until I had kids of my own, so I'm making up for lost time. It's also a chance to give my grandkids the things I didn't have, and seeing it through their eyes makes it worth every penny we paid.

It meant many more vacations to WDW than I would have taken, now, it means getting away from the cold in the winter.
