THE MORE I READ ABOUT DVC, THE MORE I BECOME INTERESTED. CAN ANYONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THE PROCESS ON BECOMING A DVC MEMBER...SUCH AS MINIMUM DOWN PAYMENT, MONTHLY, PAYMENTS, FOR EXAMPLE HOW MUCH WOULD A STUDIO COST FOR 10 DAYS. PLEASE EXPLAIN THE POINT SYSTEM TO ME, OR IS THERE A WEBSITE THAT PROVIDES THIS INFORMATION. ANY HELP WOULD BE APRRECIATED. THANKS

I would suggest you follow the previous suggestions and also contact DVC directly (do to he disney website and click on the DVC link) and request their information package. It contains a short video and some great literature about how everything works. These forums are a great place to get answers to all the questions you will undoubtably have. You can buy DVC direct from Disney or purchase a resale contract from a broker. Do all your research and use these boards to decide which purchase option best suits your needs and preference.

Also, contact some resale brokers (there is a recent thread "where did you buy your resale" with good contact information). I am working with The Timeshare Store. They are very knowledgeable, great to work with and not high pressure.
