In need of serious help

Christmas school break is the last time I would want to visit DL. I love DL, but you could'nt pay me to be there for those Christmas crowds.

If you know that large crowds aren't your thing, then it is definitely wise to avoid DLR during the last 2 weeks of the year. But for others, it really can be a fun time -- with good planning and realistic expectations! The energy level in the parks is high and the festive decorations and festive feel are very special. There are some of us on this board who visit the parks every year at this time and enjoy it -- but we know what to expect (and what not to expect!), we do our planning, and we know how to go with the flow.

You get the same decorations and feel at the beginning of the season though. I sure wouldn't want to do it elbow deep in humanity. To each their own. Couldn't pay me enough though.

If you are fortunate enough to get the time off earlier in the season, great! But if the only time off you can get falls during the last two weeks of the year, for some of us, better to have crowded holiday Disney, than no holiday Disney!
