About 2 1/2 years ago someone dropped off some cats in our neighborhood. One of them was so sweet and friendly. We started feeding him. He (Kitty) lived outside in the fenced in backyard. Then one of the other cats started hanging around. The first cat started hanging out in the frontyard. The second cat (Bobby) claimed the backyard. I can't have cats in the house due to allergies.

Anyway, early this morning two big dogs killed Kitty. I am so upset. My neighbor said she saw the dogs and tried to run them off, but she was scared to get too close. My DH was already at work. I had to bury the poor little thing. I didn't realize how attached I was to the cat. I am so sad!

:grouphug:We've had to put down our two cats in the past year.I know how you feel and it is really difficult.Wishing you the best.

 I am so sorry for your loss! Poor kitty! Who let there dogs run loose without a leash?

I know loosing a beloved animal can be really hard..... I am sorry for your loss...

We live outside the city limits.(kind of in a rural area) I called Animal Control once, about big dogs running loose. ( I wouldn't care, if they were small dogs) They came to my house weeks later and said "Where is the dog you called about?" Gee I don't know its been 2 weeks! So I quit calling.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I once had a cat named Kitty too. He started as a stray but became a part of my family.

Kitty had a better life because of you.
