We are planning on spending our 1st 2 days in Orlando at US/IOA I am just trying to plan where to eat. I know on the Disney section we have Food Porn any on the Universal thread?

Question 2 I have a 2 year old and want to know where eat at CityWalk for Dinner he loves sports and Cars so I am trying to decide between Nascar cafe and NBA Cafe. Which is better?

It's not quite as extensive as the Disney food porn but you will get the idea.

I like NBA City better than Nascar Cafe but you may find Nascar more family-friendly.

Let him choose whichever one he likes then walk him through the other. Pricewise there isn't much difference and both are used to browsers that just want to see the memorabilia.

Thanks that's a great idea do I need ADR's? How does that work?

What about counter service places? Any place better than the other?

What time does Mythos open?

We ate at NASCAR last week and it was wonderful...prices were not that bad and the portions of food were big......good food.

Depending on when you're going, you may not need to make reservations like at Disney. Universal is an ADR-free zone.

Counter places: Thunder Falls Terrace, The Burger Digs and Comic Strip Cafe are all good at IOA. At the Studios...Louie's is my favorite.

I think Mythos opens at 10:30am.

MYthos may vary depending on the time of year. We were just there this weekend, and it opened at 11:30. They had someone there who took our name at 11:05 when we walked up, and when they sat people at 11:30 (we walked out and came back at 11:20 or so), we were the second couple they sat. The food at Mythos was very good, by the way.
