What is the closest In-N-Out to Disneyland? (in any direction) I have been to the one by Character Warehouse. Is there one closer? My daughter and I will be travelling alone, and would like to go to one for supper.

Or, are the neighborhoods such that we should only go in daytime?

Thanks!:hyper:

The one by the Character Warehouse seems to be the closest. (on Harbor) As for the neighborhood, either day or night, should be fine.

Thanks for your replies! A trip west would not be complete without In-N-Out!

The one on Harbor and Orangethorpe is the closest. It's about 10-15 minutes, depending on time of day, and they're open until 1:00 (1:30 on Friday and Saturday nights).

Being from the great white north, I'd like to know: what makes this place/burger so special?

Just some good quality California burgers. It’s VERY popular with locals as well as tourists. Before In an Out spread to Sacramento County we used to drive 45 min down to Vacaville to eat there.

The In and Out near my house in Elk Grove is so busy I won’t eat there, often times the line for the drive through wraps out of the parking lot and down the street but most aren’t that busy.

I actually like Fatburger better but I don't think there are any near DL. Fatburger with Egg and bacon is the best but I love the animal style at In and Out almost as much.

There was one on Tustin near the intersection of 22/55. We stayed at the Embassy Suites on Frontera on our last trip and had to run to the Target over there a couple of times and noticed the Fatburger. It's not super close to DLR, but it's not too far IMO.

As far as In-N-Out goes, I'll take a Whataburger (Texas chain) over In-N-Out any day! In-N-Out is over-hyped IMO.

There is a FatBurger in Buena Park near Knotts Berry Farm... Thats the closest one i can think of...

In-N-Out used to make really good burgers because people always liked fresh. This was when Jack in the box still went to the "fast" method rather than the "fresh" method.

I dont know why In-N-Out is soo popular but sometimes, i know people are willing to wait like 1 hr(happens during busy lunch time hours) and many times, they take people orders with a computer so the cookers can make it asap.

I like The Hat... yum yum... their burgers are gooooood too! :)

Hey I am from the great white north too and I will tell you, a trip to in-n-out is not to be missed. We ate at the one in San Diego...YUMMY!

People love in n out because the fries are fresh for one (you can see people make them). The burgers seem fresh and taste great, and also the buns are toasted (my favorite).

I also think that In n out delivers, but I'm not exactly sure about that, but they do charge for delivery.

Also some tips if you love cheeseburgers, order it animal style (grilled onions & melted cheese). Try their animal style fries as well which has fries with grilled onions and cheese on top and they also put their special sauce (I think its thousand island).

Well, we're spending time in LA, Anaheim and San Diego and I will put it on my "must do" list!! THANKS!!!!:thumbsup2

I love In & Out burgers! ... I love In & Out shakes! ... I love In & Out fries!

Always good. You can expect it.
Always a fast staff, walk-in or drive-thru.

Not the greatest burgers in the world IMO, you can't beat BBQed yourself at home!
But time after time, consistently one of the very best fast food burgers ever, especially for the price.
And if REALLY hungry, go Animal Burger.

And then there is always.... the secret In & Out menu...

Our favorite also when visiting CA! My 14 year old order a "4x" He had a double double and my Aunt who lives in So Ca, said, You need a bigger burger, order a "four by". Needless to say he loved it! I did not realize that you could order stuff not on the menu, but I guess you need to know the lingo!

There a link to the secret menu at the In N Out website but I don't have enough posts to link to here.
