I did a search, but the only information I found was from quite a few years ago so I wanted to see if these options were still possible.

From Disneyland, I see that the closest location is on Harbour Blvd., about 4 miles away, and a taxi would be around $13 + tip. Are there any locations on the ART line in Anaheim?

From LAX: can you still take the Parking Spot shuttle for free and be dropped off at the parking garage next door?

One nice thing about IN-N-OUT is that all of them have the same good food. Seriously, I have probably been to 30 locations in my life and they all taste exactly the same which means they are all AWESOME!

California, Utah, Vegas, Dallas....all great! :yay:

You can take the OCTA #43 bus north/south on Harbor Blvd. Fare is $2 each way, or $5 for a day pass. Kids 5 and under are free. Get off at Orangethorpe exit, steps away from In-N-Out.

Thanks! Ok, dumb question, but where do I catch it?

At the bus stop, silly! Oh... might help to have a map, and it looks like Google Maps doesn't show all of the OCTA stops. Here's a Street View of the stop across the street from DL... http://goo.gl/maps/JB3DO

In Anaheim, you'd look for stops like that, or OCTA bus stop signs anywhere in OC.

I admit we paid $40 for a cab ride to and from DLH get burgers for dinner one night a few years ago!

Growing up in Southern California with this place and moving away, after coming back and trying them again I really don't see them as better than 5 guys and far inferior to typical brewpub fare. At a brewpub you get a craft brewed beer to boot.

Brew pub fare and fast food burgers are two different things, don't ya think? A bit like comparing apples and oranges...

As far as comparing to Five Guys, I'm fortunate because both are within a block of me - they're different but I enjoy both; which burger I decide on is completely mood of the moment sort of thing.

Oh yes I agree its apples to oranges, but when someone is starting to consider a cab ride to a fast food joint I want to reset some expectations a bit. If it was in DTD I'd say sure try it out, but I'm not sure I'd make an expedition out of it.

We bought the T shirts too! $10 each and they make great souveniers. Nice shirts:thumbsup2

Good point. The op didn't say it was their first time to try In N Out though; maybe they're fans...?

To the OP. Yes there is a In and Out(rageously overrated) by LAX. Like you mentioned it is right next to the parking spot structure.

I am a true In-n-Out fan. But still don't think I'd make a special trip by bus or taxi away from DLR to get one.

I however am driving to CA and will make at least one trip to In-n-Out. Don't forget to say "Grilled" when they ask if you want onions!

We have never eaten there, we live in Ga. so I thought we would try it if it wasn't too far away.

I eat at In-N-Out often, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip for one. They've got good (extremely consistent) quality and excellent prices, but sometimes I don't get the almost religious reverence for them. I like that they're cheap and the burgers are cooked to order.

Now Fatburger is another matter. That is possibly the finest fast food burger I've ever had. I've tried Five Guys, Carl's Jr (and consistency is an issue), etc, and Fatburger rules.

I agree; I love to visit In-N-Out in the states that have them, but if I didn't have a car, I would not plan a special bus or taxi trip to get to a In-N-Out.

If you have a car, then sure, it's definitely worth visiting.

In N Out has a location finder on their website.

Another southern CA burger institution is Tommy's. http://originaltommys.com/.
Way better as well than In and Out. Of course In and Out Doesn't do Chili burgers. If they did they would be over rated as well.
