She passed away Sunday-believed to be from medical complications suffered due to being paralyzed in the Columbine attack.

What a fighter she was to battle the pain,etc.for so long.

Can you even imagine being 17 and a high school Junior and going through what she went through!?

Always astonished about how much damage can be done by one or two intent on evil, I try not to think about it but people like this poor girl are reminders of how fragile life really can be, may God rest her soul.

Absolutely heartbreaking. She showed so much strength for so many years, and it’s hard to even fathom what she endured. Rest in peace, Anne Marie—you’ll always be remembered.

Definitely.

She endured so much-6 months after Columbine her Mother commited suicide.

But on a positive note Anne Marie and Lauren Townsend's step-mother became very close.

I am sure that was so special to each of them.
