In May??

We're planning a trip for May 18th till May 25th, has anyone been at this time? Crowd levels? Weather?

Also, if anyone has any hotel suggestions, that would be great!
We've only stayed off grounds or in one of the value resorts, while they are nice, we are ready to upgrade!

I've been there at that time a few times, and found it busy, but really not too bad. A lot of schools are out by that time.

The weather is warm, mid 90's, but not as humid as the summer months.

My favorite mod's are CBR and POFQ. The only deluxe I've stayed at is AKL, which is very nice, but I got bored after 3 days. Seeing the animals from the balconey is amazing, but I like to wander the grounds, and AKL lacks that.

It will be busy because a lot of Southern schools are out by that time.

Also there's a discount that just came out yesterday for room only. I would check those our ASAP before the rooms available for the discount are sold out.

We have been the last 2 years from the 15-25. Its not that crowed. We get to parks at rope drop and are done with everything we want to do by 1-2pm. Star wars weekend at DHs is crowded, but even that is manageable. One thing I can guarantee you is it will be hot. Plan on some pool time. Have fun.

We were there this year the end of May/beginning of June and had a great trip! We stayed at AKL (gorgeous) and the weather was pretty good. It was warm but not unbearable and it was extremely comfortable at night.
Crowds were pretty good, we didn't want long for any ride except TSM and Soarin' but that's a given for those 2.

We were there last May and the crowds weren't bad at all. We really didn't have more than a 10 min wait for anything (until our last day which was a Fri). Magic Kingdom was packed that day with school field trips, but that was our only crowded day. The weather was very hot during the day, so we took afternoon breaks. The evenings were beautiful and very comfortable. Have a great trip!!

We've gone in May and I find the crowds not too bad, but could be better. The weather changes quite a bit from the beginning of the month to the end. We usually go the second week of May and it tends to get warmer as the week goes on. The warmest we got was mid 80's though and very little rain.

We are going to be at All-Star Movies from May 13-22 so some of the time you are there. I've never been in May before, so I don't have any advice, but I'm happy to meet someone else who's going to be there at the same time! I hope we both have great trips!

We were there the end of May/beginning of June last year. Checked in on the Friday before Memorial Day - We LOVED this time of year. We found the crowds to be very manageable and the weather was PERFECT. Super warm (90's) low humidity and very little rain. We did avoid MK of the Sat. of the holiday weekend and DHS on the weekends (Star Wars weekends were going on and our kiddos are not into it). I will say Free Dining was going on at the time so the restaurants were packed to capacity - very few, if any, walk in's available at most of the TS places.
We loved it so much we booked the same week again.
