In honor of Walt's birthday

Now we're even more psyched for our upcoming trip.

Loved visiting the museum as a precursor. We could only take pictures in the common areas of the lobby, gift shop, and cafe.

Loved seeing the candid family photos and the menus from the Hyperion Studios where most of the meals were priced around 15 and 20 cents.

Loved seeing the note from Walt to his housekeeper listing his favorite foods, one of which was spam and eggs with biscuits and honey.

Loved being able to secretly and silently say thank you to Walt for, among many things, creating Disneyland and Disney World.

Sounds like fun! I actually went out and bought my Dad a book about Walt for Christmas today! Happy birthday Walt!

I was lucky enough to get to go there on a recent trip to San Francisco this spring. It is just a fantastic museum--truly wonderful. We spent almost the whole day there (and DH is not the Disney fan I am by any stretch). Really worth checking out if you can.
