Okay....right this very moment I am having "fresh out of the oven" hot chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream. One of our favorite things is walking down Mainstreet USA and smelling those cookies baking! Wow....couldn't stand thinking about it any longer so we took the plunge. I guess I just couldn't wait 4 more weeks. I know it sounds crazy but I am just anxious about our trip. Just thought I would share the moment! ;)

Can I come over?

One of my most favorite things at MK is buying an Ic Cream sandwich.

Everybody looks at you and says mmmmmmmmm

:D

speaking of Toll House Cookies, I understand there is a cookie event at The Land in Epcot during the Food and Wine Festival designed for kids ages 4-9. Wouldn't suppose anyone has any more details to add to that?

On the last night of our honeymoon, DH & I had just gotten two of those warm chocolate chip cookies when the fireworks started overhead. One of the most romantic moments in my life!

We frequently remember that moment whenever we smell that chocolate chip cookie smell!

The food and wine festival is in October isn't it? I guess we will miss the "cookie thing" :( No chance they will be having in September huh? Oh well, Main Street cookies will be just fine. And yes, I am also looking forward to the trip over to Ghirardellis. Don't ya know I got one of there menus (and it is very descriptive too!) on our last visit and look at it often......trying to decide which one of the sundaes I am going to order, haha. I have it bad don't I? Hey, Hurricanewarning my DH and I were just at the beach yesterday and we enjoyed discussing and planning our upcoming trip. We do that just about every Saturday. It was nice!

its the warm blueberry streusel cream cheesy muffin things at the bakery on Main Street. I absolutely have to have at least one on each trip or I think I'm seriously deprived.

Okay, everybody, STOP IT!! ;)

That all just sounds too good!

Awww what a fun memory the bakery brings up! When I was a CM (circa 1988) I met one of the bakers from the Main St Bakery at Denny's one nite (the one in LBV used to be a CM hangout after hours!). The next day he brought me fresh cookies (they were still warm!) to the Living Seas where I was working. I can't remember his name but he was so sweet! After that I always looked for him in the bakery and he would come out and speak to us. Even now MANY years later, I can't help but look for him when I am on Main St.

:)
