How much did you shell out for your in ground pool? We want to do this but are clueless of the cost.

When all is said and done, it will be 50,000. That is everything....We have a pool and spa. It was 2,000 just for the permits for the city, due to where we lived.

Here it is last week...my girls are watering the gunite. We had to water the concrete 3 times a day for 7 days. Today they did the gas line.

I know a high end contractor in California. He put one in for one of the guys in Motley Crue.....Price tag..... 1.5 MILLION $$$$$ including landscaping. He also put in MC Hammer's many years ago, and that was almost a million.

We paid just over $40,000 for our Bradenton pool and spa including heat exchanger, concrete deck and aluminium cage. The county approvals (Manatee) took three months due to the high number of pools built around here and the contractor was slow and erratic. Never mind, we are very happy with the finished product.

Don't know the cost for a pool but I can tell you the cost to *BURY* one!!!

$45k with spa....and paver deck...not including any fencing.

I thought we spent alot but I see we spent a little low but we live in Texas and have no need for a heater so I didnt put one in

30K with the special tile I had made for it ( stupid move cause now I hate it 12 years later )

Years ago when my ex-H & I were house shopping we looked at a house that had an inground pool. The previous owners had removed the pump and whatever else goes along with that. The pool was empty except some leaves & icky brown rain water. The ex thought it would be a great idea to bury the pool. I nearly fainted at the idea. At one point the pool had to cost someone $$$, I would have rather fixed it up. We didn't end up buying that house.

Around here an inground pool is about $30,000.

Oh, and how long does this process usually take? weeks or months. We live in Wisconsin so I hope they could start in April so we can start enjoying somepoint during the summer.
