In-game quests all month!

On the VMK Homepage it says that there will be quests all month long, i hope they lower the criteria a bit.

Is this good or bad? I've got mixed feelings. If it brings new things, okay I like it. If it doesn't, this is just a re-hashing of April. Here's a wonderful picture:

Oh no, here we go again. I feel like April is about to come again I think it's good/bad. It's good if you get new items, it's bad if their really hard to finish

I do believe most of us haven't finished April's Green Car Quest

Anyways, not to rehash that one (because at least it is permanent and we can continue to try for it, even if it remains impossibly high for most kids, not to mention, adults)...

hmmm, another Quest month? I enjoy doing the quests but I'm a little concerned if this means they're going to have a big quest every weekend or a tiny quest every day or what? We love this game and we want to do the new things VMK puts out, and of course we want the prizes (hehe) but let's face it, the quests are time-consuming. I usually don't have a problem with the games (for which I consider myself extremely lucky!), but with the lobbies getting backed up, people dc'ing, limited instance rooms to find gems getting crowded, each quest can end up taking over a few hours or even an entire day for some (and some people still don't manage to finish!) Since I can usually finish, I try to do it a couple more times for friends who can't. But again, that takes a lot of time. Time we don't necessarily have in our real lives! And after every quest weekend, I find myself not wanting to go on VMK for at least a day just from quest burnout. Of course I end up going on to see my friends, but that's just the nature of our addiction isn't it?

So we're going to have a whole month of this?

Oh man I am so excited I am going to pee my pants!

I was not here in April so I don't know what it was like...all I know is that I LOVE quests, I sign on every day and search player rooms for "quest" every half hour and do the quests...I think they are fun and they are the only way for me to get rare stuff when people are generous with their gifts. I love the challenge and I love seeing my name on the high score so....I am so excited! I can't get to the parks for wells and such, but if I can "hang with it" for quest month, maybe I can elevate myself a little bit within VMK to start getting some stuff! YAY!

I normally love quests, but remember when all those quests came out in April? It was slow, DC constantly, full rooms, stuff like that. Now there are more people on VMK and kids off from school, and I can't seem to be logged on for more than ten minutes without a DC lately.

Yeah, this isn't going to be fun at all.

You know, I really enjoyed the April quests. I like earning my items sometimes instead of buying them. I'm really looking forward to it!

When I read that it was quest month again, I read that to mean that the staff rooms would have quests, not that they would add big quests like the cars. I hope I'm right, I love quests and I have an extremely hard time staying online in a staff room to even try to get a prize, so with quests I at least have a chance.

The staff always has quests no matter what month it is, so I doubt they'd make a big deal out of quests this month...

I have a feeling they may unleash the blue monster truck, purple, red, pink, green, space suits, and the other color diving suits or possibly new quests for new items including those yellow chairs, maybe red crates, who knows, pink or black flips, we shall see.

From the newsletter we get a little more information:

"The rest of this month is going to be full of mystery and sur-PRIZES. Get out your thinking caps and magnifying glasses, Dudes! Follow the clues each week and become a VMK Sleuth as you make your way around the virtual park and complete several new quests. Each quest has a brand new prize that will only be available while that quest is open, so get questing quickly! These quests start every Friday in August and run until the end of the month. Oh! And you might want to brush up on your Disney cat, dog, mouse, and mountain trivia just in case!"
