At this same very time I will be having dinner at 'Ohana's, then spending our first night at WL! I can't believe I started planning this trip 6 months ago! Where the heck did all the time go? I still have so much to do!!!

I know what you mean. I am so excited and there is still so much to do. All of the planning has been so much fun but it's become a little obsessive!:dance3:

Time flys so quickkly!!
i can remember booking the holiday about a year ago, and im going tommorow! :|

You get there the day after we do. I know what you mean about time. It's going quickly. 58 days for us!

I have so many things to buy! And I have to get out the "Disney box" of all the stuff I've bought from the Disney store over the last 6 months to see what we have! I keep buying and buying I probably have about 30 shirts for DS lol :rotfl: I know he has a bathing suit and matching towel. And a cup to pour his drinks in at the parks (and from his resort mug if he'll let me!0. We need a new stroller though, and some new luggage. Ahhh!!!

At least we have plane tickets :thumbsup2

You do the same thing I do!

Yesterday we were at the 2 month mark until our trip. I e-mailed DH at 7:00am and said "Exactly 2 months from right now our plane for WDW will be taking off!". Then at noon I e-mailed him again and said "Exactly 2 months from right now we'll be eating lunch at Kona Cafe!". And I sent him pictures of the restaurant.

Let's see - exactly 2 months from right now we'll be enjoying our first park day - Magic Kingdom! ;)

We leave 60 days from today....woohoo!

You'll be there when we are too! No one in my house wants to hear my mouth anymore . My coworkers think I'm obnoxious. I just can NOT contain myself anymore!

My DH doesn't get really excited for the trip until it's 2 weeks away so my super-deeelightful countdown updates are lost on him.

I do find that when someone here in the office has a trip to WDW planned that fact always works it's way to me since most people here know how much I love WDW.

But, I don't talk about my trips too much. There just aren't any Disney freaks here to share the love. A couple years ago a co-worker took his family to WDW and about a month after they got back I said "Are the girls still talking about the trip to Disney?" and he said "No, they've moved on to other things". Okieee dokieee then. :rolleyes1

Well only DS and I are going. So everyone else is just irritated by this point lol.

I have a supervisor who loves Disney, but not nearly as much as I do. I just can't control my excitement and I end up talking about it all the time. They roll their eyes when I get out the big WDW notebook and spreadsheets

I can understand all the excitement. Last time, DH told me to stop talking about it, but, for some reason, this trip he's not complaining. That's a good thing - cause, otherwise, I'd be bursting at the seams since I can't share it with the kids. I think DH is starting to come around.... see, there is potential for a switch! :rotfl:

I have to say that my excitement factor for this year's trip had been kind of low but yesterday it almost felt like a little seed pod of excitement opened and the little seeds of joy just sprouted. I could really "feel" ourselves there, KWIM? I can't believe we are down to 59 days!

It's just been a B-A-D year and I just couldn't get excited.
#1 - DFIL was diagnosed with Stage 2 lung cancer in December. He & DMIL lived with us from late January to early April during his treatments. He has had 2 follow-up scans and has been declared to be in remission.
#2 - DMIL was diagnosed with breast cancer in May. The tumor was small and the cancer was not in her lymph nodes. She finished her treatments in July and is doing well.
#3 - Our cat "Stitch" had been sick since March and we finally had to put her to sleep last week.
#4 - DD started 6th Grade last week and had a hard first few days as she adjusted to the newness of things. She's doing much better this week.

Soooo ...... now that all those worrisome things are over I can REALLY get excited for our trip. I booked our last ADR today and also reserved the town car service.

OK, I gotta dance now ....

Have the most magical Disney experience ever:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Gosh that's just terrible. I'm sorry to hear that you went through all that. On the bright side it's almost time for WDW! :cool1:

I just added 3 nights to my trip after a terrible week. I work in a bank and we were robbed Friday night, which was just the icing on the cake. I decided I'm entitled to a longer stay in the happiest place on earth to balance out the misery of the real world lol.

Yikes! :scared1:

Now that is scary stuff!

Isn't it funny how once you get to WDW it's like you enter this magic bubble and the real world just disappears? I hate when I open our resort door every morning and the USA Today is laying there on the ground with the latest headlines. I don't even look at the paper - I just hand it to DH.

I can't wait to enter the magic bubble in 54 days!
