In defense of Characters in Flight....

... it is one of our favorite things to do on WDW property, and certainly the main reason we go to DTD.

You can see Everest, the Contemporary, all sorts of land in Central Florida that I never knew existed, etc.

It's super cheap and fun to get a different perspective that isn't California Grill/BLT.

I haven't actually done it, but cannot imagine why people would attack it. Also haven't seen people hating on it.

I'm sure you aren't the only one who goes to DTD to do it. There's a reason they put it there!

I wasn't suggesting anyone attacked it. I'm not sure about the way you're attempting to use "per se", but I in no way was even thinking about the podcast...or anything in particular.

I just had no idea why someone would start a thread defending Characters in Flight. I did go listen, though.

Podcast people are entitled to their opinions. So is OP. I have no opinion. It looks interesting enough that I'm always thinking, "I should do that", but it seems not enough for me to have bothered to do so.

I am sure it has drawn people to DTD, which was its purpose. If they're happy, I'm happy.

I'd be interested to hear if it is drawing in business. Any time I've headed over that way I haven't seen a huge crowd.
