Hi everyone here is the story: going Oct 18-26th. Boyfriend was originially scheduled to go 18-24th. me and my family have reservations for lecellier lunch at 2:30 on 10/25 now bf is staying entire trip (i'm over the moon excited about this), and this is the only reservation i wasn't able to modify from 6 to 7. Here is the thing though..... in that 6 count, is a 2 year old kid.

you think I should just go with the 7 and it's really only 6 people that are eatting off the menu? or modify to 5 and take me out of the picture and me and him go somewhere else?

i want real life experiences if possible with someone who has been in this siutatiuon. Please help! i'm worried sick.

p.s. i really really wanna go to lecellier.

also, is it hard to convert 6 to 5... obviiously harder to do 6 to 7 but never tried decreasing...

Be prepared to have the 2 year old sit on a lap the whole time. My 2 year old would never stay on a lap, but maybe the one in your party will.

6 to 5 is easier since a big enough table will be available.

Everyone needs to be counted on the reservation - it's not about chairs or table size, but fire codes and capacity.

Don't bother to change any ADR from 6 to 5, just show up with the smaller party. You can TRY to show up with an extra person and hope they can fit you in, but at LeCellier it's most likely booked to capacity, as the place is quite popular and quite small.

Your safest bet is to book you & your BF somewhere else, and won't it be nice to get away from everyone for a little while? ;)

Just show up with 7 and tell them you didn't count the 2 year old. Then they will know, and hopefully throw a highchair somewhere. We had my parents decide to join us last year- one month out, so NO Adrs could be modified from 5 to 7. So we just showed up with 7 and explained....all of them made room added them on at check-in. Even Ohana

Did you see if you can get a reservation for 2 people at Le Cellier at roughly the same time the rest of your family will be there? If not, maybe you and your boyfriend can make a reservation at a different Epcot restaurant and have a little quiet time with just the two of you.

I would just show up with 7 people and act dumb at the podium and say 6 + the 2 year old. They will find a space for you.

There really isn't room in Le Ceiller to just throw a highchair somewhere. The tables are so tight together you are practically sitting with your neighbors to begin with.

Le Ceiller is one restaurant where as you sit waiting for your table you hear people constantly turned away, as they try to walk up for a meal. The best thing you can do is change your ADR to 7 people ahead of time. If you can't then show up early with the extra person. Hopefully they will be able to seat everyone, but you can't bank on it.

thanks everyone - i'm too much of a worrier, i found another tabe for 2 on another day and will just call to make it from 6 to 5...
