our friends will be meeting their new daughter for the first time. They are in China to get her and will be coming home on the 23rd of this month. She's just 8 months old and we are so excited she'll be here for her first Christmas. Thanks for letting me share!

I´m so happy for them. It´s funny though, just 10 minutes ago I was checking out an icelandic website from a group of 5 couples who will be picking up their new daughters in China on christmas day.

That's so cool! I have a student (age 5) and on her birthday she told me that 5 years ago her mommy and daddy went to China and picked her to be their own special daughter. I thought that was pretty neat.

They are so blessed! What a great Christmas present. I have a daughter who was born in Korea. We got her when she was 6 months old, on Halloween. She's 19 now and such a beautiful young lady. I just get chicken skin thinking about the adventure they are starting!

My beautiful niece, who was born in China, just turned 7 on Friday....she came to us 6 years ago on her 1st birthday.
