Help please. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to get my impossible to shop for DH for Christmas?

He doesn't wear jewelry. I really don't want to get him clothes. He's picky about his music and isn't interested in any dvds. Help!

Tools, tools, and more tools. :yay: :dance3:

Electronics - the more flashy lights and buttons, the better. :cool1:

Good suggestions but he already has all the tools he could possibly need or use and there is no way I could pick the "right" electronics.

I've asked him to please, please, please come up with a list for me but he hasn't yet. Sheesh....

GPS system
Tix to a sports event/concert
new flashy cell phone

What are his interests? My husband is hard to buy for also. We are the kind of people who buy what we want for ourselves.

I have no idea about what to buy DBF.

He has virtually everything he could own, he has about every gadget, ... He doesn't wear watches, he has all tools possible, all electronics possible, he doesn't work, so no use in buying him a PDA or whatever, already has a GPS, ...

Men are awful people to buy gifts for!

I think I will buy the eternally plan B (which I use for about everyone on about every occasion): perfume.

Like your DH, mine doesn't care for cd's, dvds or clothes. I shop for him based on instinct. I go to a few stores and look around until I see something I think he might like. Granted, it takes a little time and patience, but it works! And it seems the less I spend, the more he likes the gift. Case in point - last year I bought him a commemorative coin folder for the 50 state quarters made 1999 through 2008. He has collected all of '99-'04 and is well on the way to completing '05. He loves it! I just happened to see the folders on an end cap at Walmart for $1.99 :rotfl: Go with your instincts!

My DH is the same way - but we really don't exchange gifts anymore, I will get him one thing and my DS will get him something. Plus I fill his stocking.

This year I got him, a long sleeve mets shirt, and also just go into golf, so I got him a polo shirt with the Mets logo. The stocking will have golf stuff in it.

He is the same way, not into DVD or CD's - not into clothes, or cologne. I don't think he knows what a tool is!

DH and I find it too hard to shop for each other, so we don't! :rotfl: Really, we decided to stop exchanging gifts, and spend our money on the kids and maybe one needed thing for the house. Takes a big load off me (and him)!

My boyfriend is getting a sweatshirt (he really needs one) and an iTunes gift card. He's impossible to shop for too. I can't afford anything he wants. :rotfl:

Does your DH like to take pictures? If so, how about a digital photo frame. It's a shame that so many of our pictures just sit on a computer.

I'm also a wanderer looking around for stuff for my husband. He never really asks for anything but I just look at what he is doing and see if he needs something to make whatever he is doing better or things he is just lacking that he didn't know he was lacking ;) We also don't do BIG purchases for the other without both sides of imput as a gift. This year so far:

personalized cuff links and tie bar
pair of pj's with some comfy slippers(the man doesn't own either one of these)
two new hardback books that he wants to read but wouldn't pay for
a far side desk calendar
2 dvd movies that he read the book and was interested in the movie
$50 gc from ticketmaster

stocking stuffers:
Itunes gc
$10 gc to starbucks
$5 in disney dollars
a new 1GB flash drive
new toothbrush,chapstick, fruit and candy

It is impossible for any man to have too many tools. I have a garage full, but always want more.

Name a star after him. http://www.starregistry.com/

I bought DH a Sirius radio & one year subscription for his birthday and I think it is the best gift I ever gave him. He listens to it constantly in his car -- everything from music from various decades to talk radio to stand up comedy to football games. BEST BEST gift ever!

Does he have any interests or a hobby? Or is there a hobby he has mentioned he would like to start, but hasnt?

Don't know if it's in your budget, but last year I got my impossible to buy for DH lawn mowing service for the year. The only bad things is now I have to keep paying for it since they did such a great job!

Other gifts have been a book of coupons to the local car wash, gift cards for the computer store.

How about adding additional channels to your cable TV? or some other type of upgrade?

Good luck! It's always a challenge for me too!

Sporting even tickets maybe. Or an ipod if he doesn't already have one.
