Hi Everyone!

I was on the recent WBPC cruise and for those of you who are traveling with large groups in the future, I have an important Shutter's FYI for you:

For those of you who are traveling in more than one stateroom on future cruises, don't expect to be able to purchase pictures of each other :headache:, even though your cabins are linked :sad2: Shutters Facial Recognition policy resulted in all 6 staterooms (I went with a group of 12 other people) pictures located in one stateroom account :confused3 :scared1: However, we (my family) were not allowed to buy them :furious: Shutters policy is the only time you can buy photos from another stateroom is if someone from your stateroom is in the photo or if the other cabin (occupants) are your unmarried children. We confirmed that grandparents who are not in the photo with their grandchildren wouldn't be able to buy those photos

I have no idea why you can't do that anymore. I just wanted to let everyone know about this. Thank you for reading

Probably has to do with people purchasing pictures of others (kids? maybe) that they aren't traveling with. Creepy, but there are creepy people out there, even on DCL.

Yup and unfortunately, the Shutters people were rude too :sad2: I was on the WBPC earlier this year and my group wanted to do a group pic in front of one of the backdrops. They at first said no, because only 8 people could be in it :furious: It was NOT pretty and we basically had to argue. Eventually, the manager gave in after moving the tripods

How stupid! We've had pictures taken of our extended family of more than 40 people on the atrium stairs.

So odd. What if someone in the photo was present with someone from the stateroom folio the photo was in and together they wanted to purchase the photo?

The Shutters people on the Fantasy this past week were not all that friendly neither.
I understand the rule about a max number of people with the backdrops since otherwise it is hard to have everyone fit but shouldn't be an issue on the stiars and at the statue etc...

But, presumably one person can just buy the USB with all of the photos and download them onto their computers?

Only if all photos include at least 1 person from the purchasing stateroom. You can only purchase the USB for your own stateroom, or to include minor children in another stateroom. Your purchase will not include a picture of grandma and aunt susie and cousin sally who aren't booked in your stateroom. Their own stateroom(s) would need to purchase that photo.

Enjoy your cruise!
