I am recently back from a 9 day trip. We own a home nearby so we do not have to stay on site. This was an important trip and so I decided to use my Marriott points for Swan or Dolphin for our Hollywood Studios day for the early entry and early ILL. This was a last minute booking to stay the night of our Hollywood Studios park day. Well it turns out that booking Swan/Dolphin can take up to 72 hours to show up on MDE app. I called Disney and even moved up to a supervisor and they said there was nothing we could do. Boy did I cry. I was so frustrated that I would not be able to use the perks I was entitled to and I could not cancel the hotel. I booked around 5pm on Monday for Tuesday night. All that being said I had a confirmation number and I kept trying to input it in the app. WE GOT VERY LUCKY! By the time I had gone to bed it was in the app but not correctly/fully. At 7am we were able to get our Rise ILL. More tears, but of joy this time. We were able to show the reservation on the app to waive the parking fee for the day at the park. Being a platinum Marriott member we got to enjoy the resort the next day. With the exception of leaving the park after transportation was available and having to walk the mile back to the Dolphin on the day we had rope dropped early entry (my feet were burning), everything went perfect. We had an after park closed Oga's Cantina reservation to celebrate my daughter's 21st Birthday (which was that day) and apparently the boat stops at 10pm. But walking out of the near empty park was so worth it.

Our day included Rise, we flew the Falcon 2x, Micky/Minnie Railroad, lots of photos, GREAT Fantasmic seats thanks to dining and lots of smiles and memories made. We all took the boat back to the resort to check in after our Fantasmic lunch and rested about an hour mid day. Something I have never done as I have never stayed on property. I am grateful we got so lucky. But I want to let people know apparently because it is a Marriott property there could be a delay.

Yep, it's pretty much a known by regulars and discussed often on the Swan/Dolphin thread. Usually, I'm able to get mine on MDE within about 24 hours but a lot of people have reported it took up to 48 hours. They are known to drop off MDE if you book them far enough in advance, I've had to readd mine twice so far for my upcoming trip in April. Glad you ended up getting your Rise and enjoyed your stay. I stay at Dolphin often, I love being able to walk to two parks and since I always have PHs being able to hop into Epcot at night to sample some booths or hop over to HS at night just to enjoy the atmosphere is great.

While you may lose ILL/G+ booking, you should never lose EE. The front desk at SR offered me vouchers for EE when I had trouble linking my reservations. So if you’re worried about EE because your reservation won’t link/dropped go ask the front desk before heading to the park. Gets real fun when it randomly drops your res between check in and the next morning 😡

I thing the really crappy thing is it’s been like this for a couple years 🙄
