Hi i am thinking of buying a laptop in us because of the good exchange rate i know electrical goods in us hav 60 day warranty
but i am wondering what import tax i would have to pay IF i was to declare it thxz

Why not contact HM Customs and Excise ?

Don't forget that buying over the internet from a UK source can quite often be as cheap as retail in the US.

Not sure about the Import duty amount, but you will have to pay VAT
